Pug Ate Then Pooped Out 100 Rocks

Filed under: PugIcky Icky Dog PooDog

Pug

Harley the pug is one of 12 animals competing for the title of Odd Veterinary Health Claim.

Harley’s claim is for eating 100 rocks. His owner noticed he was pooping rocks but had no idea how many he had eaten, saying:

“I wasn’t aware of how many rocks Harley had ingested until I saw the X-ray. We’re not talking about one or two rocks. Harley’s stomach was half full and his intestines were jampacked.”

After seeing the vet, the x-ray revealed the rocks were small enough to safely pass normally. So with the help of some medicine, he pooped them all out!

Gross. At least he didn’t need surgery.

Some of the other competing pets are a cat who, while chasing a house fly, jumped onto a hot stove and a chihuahua who was almost picked up by an owl.

All animals have made full recoveries from their claims.

On the rocks

Uh-oh! Looks like there is trouble in paradise for Paris Hilton and Cy Waits!

Apparently the couple have decided to "reevaluate" their relationship after a year of dating.

What's to blame for the sudden problems? None other than — surprise, surprise — reality television!

Cy is furious over how much of the couple's private life has been shown on The World According To Paris, as sources have said:

Horrible. Elderly Gay Man Stoned To Death.

This is truly one of the most sickening things that we've ever heard.

A 28 year old Philadelphia man named John Joe Thomas has been charged with first degree murder after he admitted to police that he stoned a 70 year old gay man named Murray Seidman to death.

According to authorities, Thomas read the Old Testament and became convinced that homosexuals should be stoned to death. After Seidman allegedly made repeated homosexual advances on him, he beat the man about ten times with a sock he filled with rocks.

It's currently unclear what kind of relationship he had with Seidman, but the two apparently spent every day together, and the younger man was the sole executor of his will.

Check out a news story regarding the matter (above).

So disturbing, bizarre, and tragic.

Our thoughts go out to Seidman's family and loved ones, and we sincerely hope that Thomas comes to understand the gravity of what he did.

Immortalize Your Pet In Stone

Witty Wocks product pic

Or rock.

Whatever you prefer to call it, but this is seriously one of the COOLEST ideas we've heard of lately.

No more are just presidents immortalized in one of the oldest materials on earth, but now your pets can be sculpted out of rocks!

Witty Wocks, a company started by Florida-based stay-at-home mom Adria Bernstein in 2009, takes your pet's picture and turns it into a work of art, using mainly rocks, glue and paint.

The creations start at $60, and take about a week to make, depending on the complexity of the request.

But wait, there's more!

Adria does more then pets too. She has created people, mascots, logos and is even working on a guitar for rocker Kenny Loggins!

Adria said of her new business venture:

"Rocks are gorgeous in their own natural state, but I wanted to do something more with them. I took it upon myself to glue them together, and realized I had something going on."

We think it's a little more than something. We can see this really taking off.

In fact, we're surprised it took this long for someone to build off of the Pet Rock, but we're happy to see Adria literally making pets out of rocks.

We love the detail in her work and think her creations look pretty darn identical to the pictures people have sent her.

Very cool products and we'd love to see Teddy's rock portrait some day soon.
