This could be pretty cool! And we always appreciate some old-school hand-drawn animation!
Dreamworks is reportedly working on a brand new project called Me And My Shadow, which will incorporate both hand-drawn and CGI animation techniques, sort of similar to that in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
The film, headed by The Emperor's New Groove director Mark Dindal and written by Steve Bencich and Ron Friedman, will focus on a shadow named Stan who is unhappy being attached to a boring human named Stanley Grubb, so he decides to start LEADING him!
DWA President of Production Bill Damaschke explains:
"The project combines the time-honored tradition of hand-drawn animation with the magical sophistication of CG characters and worlds in ways that have never been experienced by audiences before. It will be super-challenging but very cool."
Such an innovative concept! We're very curious to see what this ends up looking like!
We have a very good feeling about this one!
What do U think?? Will U check out Me And My Shadow??
