We wonder if Kelly Clarkson has seen these??
Ron Paul, back in the day before the internet, just loved sending out racist and homophobic newsletters. It's strange to us that they haven't blown up very much online, but it might be because the process of digitalizing them is slow. Or maybe the right people just haven't seen them yet for them to take off.
It's a problem, and one person has taken it upon themselves to create a twitter called @RP_Newsletter and has dedicated it to tweeting the most offensive things directly from the documents.
As of now, Ron Paul hasn't come up with an concrete excuse for them yet — from blaming ghostwriting to actually defending them. Either way, they're absolutely disgusting and he should have to answer for them:

That's probably the last time Kelly tweets her political beliefs! Yikes!
Earlier today, Kelly Clarkson wrote the following tweet via whosay:
I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance. If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he's got my vote. Too bad he probably won't.
After receiving a bunch of hateful tweets in response, Kelly wrote the following message:

This one's gonna get a little controversial.
He may have some Libertarian-style views, but one thing's for sure: Ron Paul is against abortion.
Paul recruits some former patients to help get his message across in his new anti-abortion ad (above).
We may not agree with his message, but…. you know what, we're just going to leave this right here…

Someone seems a little upset.
When Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry turned down The Donald's debate invitation he said:

Whoo.
He may not have Whoopi Goldberg's support, but Newt Gingrich has the majority of Republicans' votes. And by majority, we mean 33%….
Mitt Romney and Ron Paul are both at 15%.
Yeah, that party definitely has it together. For sure.

This is pretty messed up.
Even though this all happened back in '08, the story of Republican candidate Ron Paul's deceased campaign manager is being revisited all over the media right now, because of its pertinence to Paul's current views on health insurance.
As a reminder, Paul's campaign manager Kent Snyder passed away three years ago due to pneumonia, and the man didn't have health insurance at the time of his death.

This is horrible. Whatever happened to helping your fellow man?
In a disturbing display of lack of compassion, Ron Paul was asked a very serious question — one that had the crowd (of what we assume are people who we'd never want as neighbors or care-givers) cheering and agreeing with the idea of just letting someone who is uninsured die.
And get this: in the hypothetical situation, the uninsured is a young, healthy male in his low thirties who has a great job and is a great part of his economy.
Who in their right mind would ever cheer the loss of a life at all? What sense does this make? Wouldn't we want to keep that kind of young consumer around?
We're just blown away by this. Check it out above.
This bums us out.
