California Man Is The First In United States To Receive A Living Lung!
Wowzers!
Fernando Padilla recently suffered the unfortunate disease, Pulmonary Fibrosis, which scars and thickens the lungs without a known cause.
But because of the new technology that offers a transplant of an actual LIVING LUNG, the long time construction worker was saved and relieved from his oxygen tank.
That's cray!
In the video (above) UCLA Dr. Abbas Ardehali explains how the procedure goes down, and we must say, it's rather amusing!!
