She just figured it out!

Roseanne Barr is getting some much needed r&r: rest and Rod Serling-inspired excuses!

On Wednesday, the disgraced sitcom star let her Twitter followers know she's been reflecting on things — and is still sure she's not racist — in the weeks since ABC canceled her show over a racist tweet she wrote about Valerie Jarrett.

While the network scrambles to salvage her hit with some form of a Roseanne-less reboot, the comedian is still making excuses for describing Barack Obama's former advisor as a cross between "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes."

And after sitting on it for weeks, Ro-Ro finally realized why her comment was so "misunderstood." She claims the "apes" descriptor wasn't about race, but a reference to Rod Serling's 1968 sci-fi film "about anti-semitism."

Roseanne Barr Is 'Seriously Considering' Cutting Herself Out Of ABC's Roseanne Spinoff Financially!

Roseanne Barr doesn't want to be the villain anymore!

A source close to the disgraced sitcom star said she is "seriously considering" forgoing any profits from a potential Roseanne spinoff because she feels so bad for getting the show canceled with her racist Ambien tweeting.

As we've reported, ABC has been toying with the idea of a spinoff that focuses on another family member in hopes of salvaging the ratings powerhouse without its controversial star.

Many critics rejected this idea, however, noting that creator Roseanne would still profit from the Roseanne-less reboot. For that reason, former showrunner Whitney Cummings even said this new version would be "a bad move."

But it looks like Ro really does feel bad about making the cast and crew lose their jobs — because she's now apparently open to cutting herself out of the spinoff completely!

A source close to the actress says she's "hunkered down" with her parents in Utah at the moment and just wants to help the people who suffered at the hands of her sometimes racist fingers, dishing:

After ABC canceled Roseanne late last month due to star Roseanne Barr's undeniably racist comments about a former advisor to President Barack Obama, most fans of the re-booted show figured that was pretty much it for ever seeing it on TV again.

But not so fast! ABC hinted soon after the cancellation, and they are still exploring avenues now, that might allow them to re-boot the show around Sara Gilbert's character while cutting Barr out of it altogether!

Although the once and future Darlene has previously shunned her costar on social media, on Monday, the 43-year-old further elaborated her point on her other show, The Talk. She said:

"In addition to my statement, I would like to say this has been a very difficult week. A lot of people have been hurt by this. I will say I'm proud of the show we made. This show has always been about diversity, love and inclusion. And it's sad to see it end in this way. I'm sad for the people who lost their jobs in the process. However, I do stand behind the decision ABC made."
