Production has officially started on Transformers 3, and Shia LaBeouf has shot his first scenes with new leading lady, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Somewhere in the distance, Michael Bay was tickled pink with his new actress, but if you ask us, Shia just looks wrong surrounded by rubble and gazing up at fake robots without Megan Fox.

It just won't be the same without her!

It's official!

Douchebag Director Michael Bay announced last night on his official website that Megan Fox has been replaced in Transformers 3 with Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley!

He writes:

"I would like for all you S4TE fans to welcome Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to the world of Transformers. As some of you might know, she's the new female lead in Transformers 3."

Bay apparently directed the model in the lingerie store's A Thousand Fantasies ad in 2009.

We bet she'll give a just as multi-faceted and layered performance as Miz Foxy!

It seems the likely choice to replace Megan Fox in Transformers 3 is Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whitely.

According to a source, the model "has read for the part and is a frontrunner for the role."

It's a plus that she can read, but all she needs to do is stand there and look hawt for a Michael Bay flick.

Good luck to Rosie! She'll need it.
