Jason Aldean was on the stage at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on the Las Vegas strip when a madman opened fire with a modified assault rifle, killing 59 and injuring hundreds.

And now, just over a month later the country star is sharing his experience in his first interview since the shooting.

From the preview posted by Today, it seems Jason's first memory was complete confusion at what was going on; he thought the noise of the gunfire was a technical glitch:

"I was actually getting kind of aggravated, so I looked over at the monitor guy on the side of the stage, and I was like, ‘What is that? And fix it.' And when I turned and looked, my guitar player had run behind me and was telling me to move, like, ‘Let's go.'"

Meghan King Edmond's stepdaughter survived the shooting.

Meghan King Edmonds' stepdaughter Hayley Edmonds is suffering from PTSD after surviving the Las Vegas shooting earlier this month.

While she says husband Jim Edmonds' daughter came out physically unscathed, the Real Housewives of Orange County starlet talked to Entertainment Tonight about her emotional state.

Meghan shared:

"She's not good, as you can imagine. She has some PTSD and I think probably everybody [who was] there does. It's the deadliest mass shooting in American history. It's horrible."

The poor thing!

The momma also described how Hayley, who attended the Route 91 Harvest Festival with friends, followed her roommate to safety during the shooting:

Las Vegas Mass Shooter Booked TWO 'View' Hotel Rooms Overlooking Lollapalooza

The Route 91 Harvest Festival may not have been Stephen Paddock's initial target.

According to reports, the domestic terrorist might have originally set his sights on the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago. Apparently, the gunman booked two hotel rooms which overlooked the MASSIVE outdoor venue.

In case you were unaware, the major musical event takes place in early August and is held in Chicago's Grant Park. The outdoor venue allows for over 400,000 attendees to see big musical acts in just four days. Malia Obama even attended Lollapalooza this year.

Donald Trump speaks in Vegas about the mass shooting.

Donald Trump held a press conference on Wednesday after meeting with the first responders and victims of the deadly mass shooting in Vegas.

While POTUS has refused to start talks on gun control, he addressed the tragedy which left at least 59 dead and over 500 injured. In an attempt to share his sorrow, he shared:

"The mass murder that took place Sunday night fills America's heart with grief."

It was an entirely different Trump than what we saw of him in Puerto Rico, disrespectfully throwing paper towels into the crowd. Although, here, the 71-year-old hardly took his eyes off his speech, plainly reading it off without any emotion.

Like his last press conference on the horrific shooting, he continued to pepper in scripture, asking God to "ease their suffering and to speed their healing," adding "that the souls of those who passed are now at peace in heaven."

He also went on to say:

Las Vegas Shooting Survivor Gets Surprise Reunion With Stranger Who Saved His Life!

59 people were killed in the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. But Tom McIntosh wasn't one of them.

After helping his wife escape the concert grounds, Tom was shot in the leg. He was bleeding out, sure he would die — until a stranger came along.

Army reservist James Lawson was in the middle of escaping himself when he spotted Tom's injury and stopped to tie a makeshift tourniquet around his leg and stop the bleeding until they could get to the hospital.

Tom never even learned James' name that night, but thanks to TODAY, the two strangers were reunited Tuesday morning.

Country music duo Big & Rich are mourning one of their fans who lost his life in the devastating Vegas shooting on Sunday night.

While they just left the stage at the Route 91 Harvest Festival 90 minutes before a gunman shot and killed at least 59 people and injured 527 others, they recalled getting a chance to hang out with him earlier in the day.

Our thoughts are with all the victims and their loved ones.

The Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas was the target of the United State's deadliest mass shooting on Sunday night, with at least 59 dead and 527 injured.

Late Monday night, the country music festival released their first statement following the horrific tragedy to social media.
