Last month, a judge told Hayden Christensen to kindly GTFO with his allegations against USA Network for stealing his idea for a series about doctors who make house calls to the rich and famous!

Bravo network has moved seven unscripted series into development.

And oddly enough, none of them have housewives! (Damn!)

Two of the more interesting ones are pretty deep in-development and could be coming to our screens very soon.

Royal Pains, USA's successful summer series, premieres tonight at 9PM. You might want to watch just so you can be up to speed for when Matt Lauer guest stars later on in the season.

Yep, Matt's got himself an acting gig. He'll be playing … well, he's playing himself actually. We know, not that much of a stretch, but still, it sounds like fun. The story goes that Matt is supposed to be on vacation at his Hamptons home when Evan Lawson, played by Paulo Costanzo, schemes to get a Today Show profile for his and brother Hank’s "medical concierge business," HankMed. We'll see how well that goes for them!

You can't win them all!

Hayden Christensen and his brother Tove filed a lawsuit against the television network USA for allegedly ripping off their their proposal for a TV series about a doctor who makes housecalls to the rich and famous.

Sound familiar?

The brothers said that they pitched an idea for a comedic-drama about a "concierge" doctor show called Housecall in 2005.

Although execs found the idea "fascinating", they passed, but their lawsuit claims they developed their own version Royal Pains instead.

While we can see Hayden and Toves reasoning for filing suit, a federal judge said their breach-of-contract claims were trumped by federal law "concerning materials that are not copyrightable, such as ideas."

Sorry fellas! It doesn't sound like they are giving up hope though, because their lawyer said:

"We are disappointed with the ruling and hope to have it reversed on appeal."

Wow!

USA must be doing something right, because nothing got the axe!

The network announced today that their entire line-up of programming will be returning next year, with Royal Pains, White Collar, and Psych all being renewed for another season.

Their other shows, In Plain Sight, Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent were all previously renewed.

Programming President Jeff Wachtel says:

"It's a wonderful validation that the shows are working. Though it's lovely to celebrate success, it also allows us to push out — you don't want to alienate your base, but you don't want to sit still. In our early days, original programming was seen as an elective. It's not an elective anymore, but it's also not an imperitive to fill time slots. We're still able to be more hand-crafted. We're not going to get to the point of, 'oh my god, we need a comedy block on Monday nights.' It's still going to remain 'no show before its time.'"

Congratulations!

That's a pretty amazing feat, even for cable networks!

Hayden Christensen and his brother Tove have filed a lawsuit against USA Networks, claiming the network stole their idea for the series Royal Pains.

Apparently, back in 2005 the brothers pitched an idea for Housecall, a show about a "concierge" doctor who makes home visits to wealthy clients.

Legal papers were filed on Tuesday at Manhattan Federal Court in New York City.

Hmm…it's a little suspicious that the show is so similar to the idea the Christensen brothers pitched.
