Attention everyone! Throwing a person smaller than you into the air is NOT cool!
Martin Henderson, a 37-year-old dwarf who played a goblin in the Harry Potter films, was paralyzed after a drunken hooligan picked him up and tossed him into the air (and eventually the ground).
The 4-foot 6-inch actor is now putting the blame on English rugby player Mike Tindall and his World Cup teammates who participated in dwarf tossing New Zealand last fall.
Gareth Thomas, a Welsh rugby player who claimed the title of the world's first openly gay professional male athlete in 2009, has announced he's retiring.
His decision is a result of realizing he could no longer "give 100%" to the sport. He further explained his retirement in a statement, saying:
"I have listened to and discussed this decision with many of my family and close friends. My mind has told me that the time to retire is now. If you can't give 100% to rugby then you can't do it justice. This is a sad day but I know that my time has come to an end as a player. I do not know what lies ahead, but I feel the challenge of something different excites me more than another year of rugby. My passion for the amazing game will never end or leave me, however."
Retiring from what you love to do is always a tough decision to make, but we wish Gareth the best in the future! Although his sexuality shouldn't even be an issue, we will always respect his courage for coming out and not being afraid to be himself!

Una Healy of The Saturdays has a bun in the oven!
She and her England rugby star boyfriend Ben Foden are expecting their first child together. According to them though, this won't be their first because they want "lots of children."
Una is about three months along and says:
"I’m really happy! It was totally unexpected, but me and Ben are really excited."
Her groupmates Rochelle Wiseman, Vanessa White, Mollie King and Frankie Sandford also released a statement, expressing their excitement for Una:
"We’re so excited for Una! We can’t wait to have a sixth Saturday. Ben and Una are going to be fab parents."
We are so happy for you two! Back in March, Ben admitted that he was planning on marrying Una…Guess now is the time, huh???

British rubgy star Ben Cohen stopped by Washington DC as a part of his “Accpetance Tour” for his new anti-bullying organization.
He auctioned off a number of items at the event to help raise money for the cause. Proceeds went to HRC, the Trevor Project and other LGBT groups through Cohen’s foundation.
Ben is straight, but believes strongly in his mission.
On his website he wrote:
“In my view, rugby is a very inclusive sport. Everyone can get involved in one way or another, so I will be using it as a vehicle to drive my message of acceptance out to people from all walks of life, everywhere. There is a lot of work to be done. Attitudes need to change. Young people should not be bullied into taking their own lives. That is what is happening and it needs to stop.”
