We're happy for CBS…but we're bummed to hear that Community's ratings are down!

Last night's big winner was (surprise, surprise) CBS, which was #1 yet again, thanks largely to The Big Bang Theory's 14.4 million viewers AND its 4.7/14 rating in the 18-49 demo! Wowsa!

Rules of Engagement also brought in impressive #'s for CBS, with 10.9 million viewers, and a 3.2/9 rating in the demo.

In TOTAL BUMMER news, ratings for Community were down 12%, with 3.6 million total viewers and a 1.5/4 rating in the 18-49 demo. Sad.

What happened, people? We were on the right track last week! Listen to CollegeHumor, and do UR part to save Community!!!!

You can't keep a good Shatner down!

Last month, William Shatner's new Twitter-inspired show S#*! My Dad Says was cancelled, even though it started out pret-ty strong at first. Unfortunately, things went south when Rules of Engagement took its time slot.

William WILL return to TV this fall though, in a guest-starring role on USA's Psych. He'll play "the estranged father of Detective Juliet O'Hara," whose character is being described as follows:

"A charming con man who wants to mend his broken relationship with his daughter. But when the opportunity to pull off a dream con is presented to him, his decision to stay on the right side of the law becomes more complicated."

Sounds like fun! We're glad to see William keeping so busy at 80-years-old!

According to a source on Twitter, it looks like CBS is setting up some extra episodes of Rules of Engagement to fill in the gaps of Charlie Sheen's Two and a Half Men.

It just keeps piling up for Mr. Sheen!

Even though this might seem like bad news for the rest of the cast of Two and a Half Men, we hope it doesn't make Charlie rush his treatment!

Get better and come back right!!

AND at least they didn't announce Joe Estevez as his replacement. LOLZ!

Good! It's about time!

After receiving a negative report from GLAAD because not ONE SINGLE show on their network features a homosexual character, CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler revealed that it's all about to change!

During the Television Critics Association press tour, Tassler claimed that a gay character would be added to their new comedy $#*! My Dad Says, as well as one in Rules Of Engagement and also The Good Wife!

She explained:

"We're disappointed in our track record so far. We're going to do it. We're not happy with ourselves."

Agreed! We think it's absolutely shameful!

It's also too bad that they couldn't just work characters into the shows organically, or without outside pressures, but we do suppose it's a start!
