Okay, okay, we're back. Phew!! Johnny Depp recently revealed that he had a terrifying moment when a private plane he riding in almost went down.

While on a plane with Rum Diary director Bruce Robinson, the engine failed and the two thought for sure that it was going to be the end for them.

Johnny Depp was in desperate need of a manicure at the New York premiere of The Rum Diary on Tuesday night.

The actor looked quite dapper in his 3 piece suit, but we can't say the same for his chipped nails.

Kudos for not looking like Jack Sparrow though.

This is just silly!

Apparently there's a clause in Johnny Depp's contract with Disney that forbids him from speaking to ABC and its affiliates about The Rum Diary as it may overshadow Pirates of the Caribbean.

LOL!! What!?! Srsly!?!

We knew Disney owned the world a lot (including ABC), but we didn't know it meant this!

We're pretty sure comparing Rum Diary to Pirates is comparing apples to oranges. Sure, they both have rum in them and the ocean but that the stories and characters are completely different. And we don't ever see Johnny doing anything remotely like Pirates since Captain Jack Sparrow is so close to his heart.

Oooh, Diz, you so silleh!

Johnny Depp strolled on up to San Francisco to do a little Q&A screening of The Rum Diary.

There, he mesmerized fans with his presence and even stuck around after to play with his band at Shattuck Down Low, during an after party put together by Sailor Jerry Rum.

Free rum all the way around! No, really! All attendess at his band's shindig got some free drinks for partying with Depp.
