Mandy Moore recently revealed that she is starting to think about her next record, and, as was the case with her previous work, Amanda Leigh, she would once again like her husband, Ryan Adams, to collaborate with her on some new material!
"I don't know about a duet. But I would love to work with him on the next record. I'm sure he'll be involved in some way. We work well together. I'm listening to McCartney right now and a lot of Gram Parsons. My hubby, too. It's hard to ignore that influence in the house."
We LOVE how she is constantly trying to develop her sound, and try out new things! She's really taken what started as a pretty paint-by-numbers pop career and made it her own, and we really respect her for that!
Keep up the good work, bb! We're looking forward to what you've got in store for our ears!
Ryan Adams is releasing a heavy metal album on vinyl next week writing on his website about the track "Electrosnake":
"We're going to begin pressing 'Orion' - my most legit METAL record - on vinyl next week. Have a listen to the song below and let us know if you'd be interested in purchasing one. P.S. Not a single B.C. Rich was hurt in the making of this record."
70,000 people expressed interest in buying the album to which Ryan replied, "Unreal, 69,567 people want a copy. That's too many, but still… It's so cool getting to figure out what the manufacture numbers are before you go to press. The future, y'all!"
Listen to "Electrosnake" for yourself above! Thoughts??
Celebrity Vampire Robert Pattinson has crushed the dreams of Singer/Songwriter Robert Pattinson because he is apparently too famous to just go to open mic-nights anymore!!
The seksi actor says:
"I used to write a lot more music by just doing gigs, just turning up to open mics and stuff with two lines of the song and then the pressure would force me to make something up on the spot. And I can't really do that anymore, which was my main process for writing songs. When I sit down to write some lyrics it just sounds like rubbish. All the songs I've done before were based on as much of a stream of consciousness as you can get. I've been talking to people (producers) about stuff for ages, where I play a musician. I'd really like to, but it's quite difficult to do. I think it's a bit risky as well. I think I'm doing another movie after the movie I'm doing now but I think I'll try and write some music, hopefully by the end of the year."
We'd probably listen to an R-Patz album, his two tracks on the Twilight soundtrack had a pretty decent Ryan Adams thing going on, so with the right producers behind him he'd probably be able to pull of something that works!!
But we DO prefer to LOOK at him rather than LISTEN to him!!
What do U think?? Would U be all about an R-Patz music career??
