The Academy of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences is already starting to make good on its promise to double its number of women and diverse members!

Stars like Idris Elba, Oscar Isaac, Michael B. Jordan, and more have been invited to join the elite group, following the Oscars' #OscarsSoWhite controversy earlier this year.

For the 2016 ceremony, all 20 of the acting nominees were white, sparking outrage across the country.

But now, Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs is following through on her plan to include more female faces and diverse members in the mix, by also inviting stars like America Ferrera, Eva Mendes, John Boyega, Regina King, Anthony Anderson, and more.

Plus, transgender filmmakers and sisters Lana and Lilly Wachowski were also asked to become members!

YAAAS! We're LOVING this list! Ch-ch-check out everyone who got invited this year (below)!

Michael B. Jordan Reportedly Going Bad For Black Panther Movie! But He's Not The First Actor To Play More Than One Comic Book Character…

no title

This cast just keeps getting better!

Just one day after Lupita Nyong'o was reported to be in talks for the solo Black Panther film, it appears Michael B. Jordan will be joining as well — as the bad guy??

Jordan's involvement makes perfect sense as he has worked with director Ryan Coogler to great success twice on Fruitvale Station and then Creed.

As for him playing the villain, Marvel Studios isn't commenting — but it would be a good opportunity for him to step into another big superhero movie without risking a longterm commitment to another franchise. *cough*FantasticFour*cough*

Of course, Michael, wouldn't be the first to take on multiple comic book roles…

Yasss!

We've LOVED the casting Marvel Studios has been doing ever since bailing Robert Downey Jr. out of movie jail to become the biggest movie star on the planet.

And it's about time they backed up a truckload of money to Lupita Nyong'o's door!

After smaller roles in Disney's other megahits Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Jungle Book, the 12 Years A Slave Oscars winner is reportedly in talks to take the female lead in the Black Panther movie!

African superhero king T'Challa's introduction was one of the most lauded features of last week's Captain America: Civil War, and his solo film — out February 2, 2018 — should be a huge hit!

Who will Lupita play? That's where it gets interesting…

Her possible role is being kept under wraps for now, but she IS reportedly star Chadwick Boseman's love interest.

In the comics, Black Panther marries none other than…

Justice 4 Flint

While most A-listers were gathering in El Lay for the Oscars on Sunday night, other celebs decided to skip the awards ceremony and rally behind Flint, Michigan.

Good on 'em!!

Creed director Ryan Coogler put on the "Justice for Flint" event hosted by comedian Hannibal Buress. Other stars in attendance were Ava DuVernay and Jesse Williams, who were among those to enjoy incredible performances by Janelle Monae and Stevie Wonder.

The event aimed to raise $100,000 for the community affected by the terrible water contamination crisis — and as of right now, they've exceeded that goal by $50,000! Woo!

Not to worry, there's no drama here. Coogler said the Academy Awards had nothing to do with the fundraiser being held the same day — but instead to honor Black History Month. He told Buzzfeed:

"With the #JUSTICEFORFLINT benefit event we will give a voice to the members of the community who were the victims of the choices of people in power who are paid to protect them, as well as provide them with a night of entertainment, unity, and emotional healing."

Other celebs like Diddy and Michael B. Jordan took to social media in support:

"I never interviewed someone before, my bad."
