We guess even Denzel Washington couldn't stand a chance against the powers of Disney!

Their latest effort, Wreck-It-Ralph, not only DOMINATED the first weekend of the holiday box-office season, but broke records as the BIGGEST debuting animated movie in the history of company - excluding joint Pixar efforts, of course - with $49.1 million!

However, don't feel too bad for our man Denzel!

His latest flick, Flight, was apparently made for under $30 million, and managed to pull in almost ALL of that in its first weekend of release with $25 million, marking one of the biggest openings for the actor ever!

Meanwhile, Argo held steady in the number three spot, as did Cloud Atlas, and RZA made a solid debut with his new flick, The Man With the Iron Fist grossing around $8.2 million!

We don't know about you, but we'll be very CURIOUS to see how these all continue to fare by next week!

Guess the marriage rumors in fact have some SERIOUS basis !

Ever since Kanye West and Kim Kardashian announced they were an item, we've been hearing reports that the couple are ready to walk down the aisle, and now, the rapper has released a preview of a brand new track for the soundtrack of his friend RZA's upcoming marital arts film, Man With Iron Fists. If the lyrical connotation is any indicator of his relationship with the reality starlet, then we should all expect some wedding bells to ring ANY day now!

Granted, he doesn't EXPLICITY drop her name the way he did in Mercy, but with lines like, "You the type of girl that probably deserve a new last name," you don't really have to guess too hard about whom he's talking!

Regardless, we're totally digging what sounds to us like a bit of a stylistic throwback to his older material, and we're very excited to hear it in full!

We had no problem with Javier Bardem playing gunslinger Roland Deschain in the adaptation of Stephen Kings' series, The Dark Tower, but Russell Crowe might be even better!

The thespian is no stranger to killing people on screen and looks good in a cowboy hat. In fact, the trailer for RZA's kung fu epic, The Man With The Iron Fist, puts Crowe's credentials for the covetted role on full display.

We'll admit it. When we first heard Wu-Tang Clan co-founder RZA was directing Russell Crowe in a kung fu epic called The Man With The Iron Fists, we were a little skeptical.

However, all it takes is one awesome trailer (above) to change our minds and now we're hooked.

The music producer-turned-actor-turned-director has most recently demonstrated his ability to carry a scene in the last season of Californication, but now he's demonstrating his ability to construct a scene from behind the camera.

Since he co-wrote the upcoming martial arts flick with Eli Roth and got Quentin Tarantino to produce it, we've got lots of faith it will deliver. In fact, it's even got a Kill Bill vibe, but looks a little more supernatural and perhaps even a little more ridiculous.

From what we can gather, Lucy Liu, Crowe and WWE Superstar David Bautista are three of seven warriors fighting each other for a butt ton of gold passing through a small village in China.

On top of all the intense action sequences, the film promises lots of good music to back it up since Kanye West, The Black Keys, Wu-Tang and Wiz Khalifa all recorded new music for the soundtrack.

Glad to hear she's back on her feet!

Even though the pilot for the proposed Wonder Woman TV show didn't end up panning out, its star Adrianne Palicki, will be taking on a new beloved superhero - in the upcoming sequel to G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra, called G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes!

The actress has reportedly signed to play the film's female lead, Lady Jaye, alongside Channing Tatum, Ray Park, RZA, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Meanwhile, sources close to production have revealed that the role of the original G.I. Joe, Joe Colton, has been included in the script, and the studio is eyeing several different actors for the part, including Bruce Willis!

Wow! We wonder if he'd be interested!

The cast of this is coming along rather nicely! Here's hoping it will more than surpass the original!

Back in September, we learned that RZA thought Russell Crowe would be perfect for his Kung-Fu Film, and we were skeptical.

Now, it looks like Crowe is confirmed to be starring in writer/director RZA's The Man with the Iron Fist, and we are still pretty skeptical.

According to IMDB, filming has already begun on the Kung-Fu flick, which has been co-written by Eli Roth, and is being produced by Quentin Tarantino, among others.

Looks like Crowe and RZA will play "inhabitants of Feudal China who are 'forced to defend themselves,' presumably against Kung-Fu warriors."

Guess we'll see if Russell Crowe is up for some hardcore, old-school Kung-Fu.

Finally! A new album from Kanye!

Now that 'Nye's personal life has calmed down, West is back in his studio in Hawaii, working on the tentatively titled Good Ass Job with Drake, Q-Tip and RZA!

Reports say Kanye is returning to his "New York hip-hop roots" with the new album, produced by RZA, No I.D. and Pete Rock.

"Me and Kanye, when we do come together, it's great. We have great chemistry. In a couple of weeks I'm going to Hawaii so I can work with him and No I.D. some more," said Drake a few weeks ago.

Good Ass Job has a tentative release date of June 2010, are U excited?
