WTF! Man Accused Of Injuring Girlfriend With Wasabi Jeans!

man-injures-girlfriend-with-wasabi-pants.jpg

People are actually terrible.

A man in Barnstable, Massachusetts has been charged with domestic assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after he threw a pair of pants covered with wasabi sauce in his girlfriend's face, injuring her.

The man apparently doused his girlfriend's $200 designer jeans in wasabi and threw them at her face, getting the spicy sauce in her eyes, after he discovered a text message from another man.

Luckily, she will be okay and he has been arrested, but still…

How disgusting and low can you get???

August 5th marks fifty years since the iconic and desperately sad figure, Marilyn Monroe, died from barbiturate poisoning at the age of 36.

Days before her death - as told in Lawrence Schiller's soon to be released memoir Marilyn & Me - the insecure starlet coaxed Schiller into photographing her entering a pool clothed, and after, emerging naked.

In Vanity Fair's June Issue, Schiller debuts these lost nude photos of the blonde beauty and recounts his experiences with Marilyn in her final days.

He remembers the morning after her death when he found his nude photograph of Marilyn on his desk, with the message: "Send this to Playboy, they might like it."

Heartbreaking.

Emma Watson's Fashion Line Flops After Poor Sales

emma-watson-people-tree-spring-2011-look-book__opt.jpg

Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has great style and a successful career, but even that couldn't save her line for ethical clothing label People Tree from bombing!

The starlet's line failed to sell, causing Emma to drastically mark down remaining inventory and halt further production of the line.

A source reveals:

"Emma was so disappointed, but even at knockdown prices, the clothes were still sitting on the shelves. She’s also stalled on plans to do more with Ferretti because she doesn’t have time."

We're sad to hear the line flopped, but we have a feeling that this won't be Emma's only stab at designing.

Here's Proof That Working Conditions For Models Suck

Here's Proof That Working Conditions For Models Suck

Just terrible!

Former model and Model Alliance founder Sara Ziff is once again revealing the dark side of modeling and thanks to a new survey, she has proof!

The results came after Ziff and former model Jenna Sauers sent a survey to 241 girls and even though only 85 returned it, their answers were more than troubling:

- 68.3% of models suffer from anxiety or depression
- 76.5% have been exposed to drugs or alcohol on the job
- 29.7% of models have been touched inappropriately on the job
- 28% have been pressured to have sex with someone on the job
- Of those who’ve experienced sexual harassment, only 29.1% felt they could tell their agencies, which might be because they lack the confidence that comes with adulthood, since:
- 54.7% begin working between the ages of 13 and 16

The average age of the respondents was 26, which means that they skewed towards older and more experienced women.

Still, this is totally ridiculous!

The industry needs to he some serious reform, and soon!

Miranda Kerr Starts Suicide Prevention Campaign

Miranda Kerr is using her star power for good.

Back in 2009, Kerr’s cousin committed suicide which left the family heartbroken.

So the 28-year-old has launched an Australian TV campaign in order to help prevent others from doing the same.

Miranda, her brother, and their parents have launched the Too Many, Too Soon Kids Helpline, aimed to help raise suicide prevention awareness and offer help to those in need.

Miranda reveals:

"The sadness of losing someone, especially in these circumstances, is something we live with and we continually question how it could be prevented.

There's not really a great awareness about the services available to kids and that's why I'm behind this great cause. If we can reach just one child and let them know there is someone out there who wants to listen, that could help to save their life. I believe if my cousin had known of Kids Helpline it may well have saved his life."

Sounds like a great cause!

Models Are Too Skinny & Sad For Herve Leger

herve-leger-by-max-azria-fall-2011-nyfw__opt.jpg

Herve Leger, not to be confused with Max Azria who currently designs for the label, thinks models and too thin and unhappy.

You don't say?

Since losing control of his eponymous label in 1999, Leger now designs under Hervé L. Leroux, but avoids runway presentations for that very reason.

He explains:

"If I had to go back to catwalk presentations I would be in a panic…Already the models I find are too skinny, too sad. And I knew the age of the super top models, Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford, who were always lively and smiling. Today you go between several défilés and you will see the exact same type of girl - it just doesn't inspire me."

We hate to break it to you Herve, but we don't think that's going to change anytime soon.

Macpherson Gets Emotional After Fashion Show While Talking About Her Father

It was a sad day for supermodel Elle Macpherson yesterday.

The hottie returned to Australia to take part in Virgin Blue’s catwalk for their new pilot’s uniform.

However, it seems she was a bit distraught by the fact that her father had surgery to treat prostate cancer just two weeks earlier.

Elle emotionally told the crowd while on the verge of tears:

“It's wonderful to be home. I miss my family… I'm going to get a bit emotional… particularly (for) my dad, who is a bit unwell."

But her dad, Peter Gow, says he’s doing just fine after surgery and attributes her emotional day to jet lag.

Reveals her dad:

"I have been a bit unwell. I'm sorry Elle was upset. She is probably a bit tired after travelling a long way. We love each other very much and I draw incredible strength from my children.

I'm on the way back. They are confident they got it all. It has been a bit of a shock actually."

We blame part of it on jet lag and part on being a concerned child. There’s no shame in worrying about her dad after surgery.

Glad to hear he’s doing well!
