Matt Lauer's role on the Today show may be getting reduced, but his pay sure isn't!

In fact, an NBC insider says the morning host won't even take a salary cut if it means saving jobs! The source says:

"TODAY show staffers are convinced there will be significant job losses because of the cost-cutting measures that are being done across the board by Comcast, which now owns a majority stake in NBC. The crew believes that some of the potential cuts could be avoided if Matt agreed to a pay cut."

Can just one man's salary really make a difference? How much can the morning show host make anyway? The insider says:

"Matt's salary is a whopping $30 million dollars a year, and it’s seriously crippling the show. But he has made it pretty clear that he won’t take a pay decrease, so instead the staffers are in line for the chop."

WHAT million dollars?? 30 WHAT dollars?? 30 million WHAT??

If he really makes that much and won't take a pay cut to save jobs, we don't know what to do! Except maybe hope he gets visited by three ghosts this Christmas! LOLz!

Even though Britney Spears passed the test during X Factor’s first live show of the season last night, it’s sounding like her stint on the show may be short-lived!!

Reportedly, although XF has already been renewed for a third season, the ratings still have not been up to par and they’re thinking about cutting costs!
