Emily Blunt, the lovely British actress who paved her way in Hollywood with The Devil Wears Prada, insists her marriage is just as important as her career.

U seee… back in July 2010, she wed Office hottie John Krasinski. But then she immediately had to go film Salmon Fishing in the Yemen in Europe.

Not exactly the first few months of newlywed bliss.. but hey, they made it work!!

The lovely Emily Blunt graced Los Angeles with her presence last night at the premiere of Salmon Fishing in the Yemen last night.

Mrs. Krasinski posed for photos at the Directors Guild of Los Angeles in a strapless black and white Naeem Khan dress in a print that reminds us of beads of dew on a spiderweb after a light rain.

The only thing bringing Emily's look down is her Gianvito Rossi bow heels. There's already so much going on with the dress, an ankle strap shoe seems unnecessary.

Emily Blunt made the trek to desert on Thursday for the opening night of the Palm Spring International Film Festival.

For the premiere of her new flick Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, the British actress donned a pale pink Marios Schwab net dress and silver Christian Louboutin sandals.

There's something about the hair and makeup that ages Emily, but we do love her hot pink lips.

We're not exactly sure what the plot of this movie is, but it stars Emily Blunt and Ewan McGregor, so we're in!

Salmon Fishing in the Yemen is a comedy-drama that focuses on bringing fly-fishing to Yemen and also stars Kristin Scott Thomas. What makes this even more intriguing is that Slumdog Millionaire's Simon Beaufoy also wrote the movie, based on the novel by Paul Torday.

The movie did well at the Toronto Film Festival so we have a feeling it'll be worth our time.

It hits theaters March 2, 2012!
