Rumor has it Anne quit the film because she's joining Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated sci-fi project, Interstellar.
Well, we hope Keira ends up taking the part, cause there are only a few ladies in Hollywood who could fill Anne's enviable acting shoes, and Mz. Knightley — star of blockbusters and indies alike — is definitely one of them!
Anne Hathaway can do teen comedies, super hero movies, depressing dramas, and musicals — so what's next?
How about a dark comedy! That sounds about right!
We're hearing that Anne is neck-deep in negotiations to star in a dark comedy called LAGGIES from Lynn Shelton. If that doesn't get your pants fitting a little funny, how about the fact that Chloe Moretz and Sam Rockwell have already joined??
As the character Megan, Anne would be a:
"perpetual adolescent and late-twentysomething who, freaked out by her boyfriend's marriage proposal, pretends to go on a career retreat but actually hides out for a week with 16-year-old Annika (Moretz), her new best friend."
Our eyes and our bodies are ready for this!! Take us now!! (Or at least our wallets!)
They all be noted character actors, but we never anticipated they'd take on THESE kind of roles!
Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, and Colin Farrell are all hard at work promoting their new flick, Seven Psychopaths, and during a recent press junket, were relieved from the monotony of the same types of questions by the host of Screen Junkies Show, who instead challenged the gentlemen to put their best thespian skillz to the test…by recreating some truly iconic moments from the TLC smash Here Comes Honey Boo Boo!
Ch-ch-check out their interpretations of Mama June, Honey Boo Boo, and Chubbs in scenes involving sketti dinner and innovative new weight loss techniques (above)!
Just watching Chris staring so intently at the script through his glasses as he tries to make sense of what he's saying…
We showed you guys the trailer for Seven Psychopaths a couple weeks ago, but now a red band trailer has been released (above).
It's pretty much the same thing, but highlights Christopher Walken's wonderful comedic timing when he's dropping the F-bomb, so it's definitely worth another viewing!
The film follows Colin Farrell's wild ride as a Los Angeles screenwriter who gets involved with seven two psychopaths who kidnap dogs for a living. Shiz hits the fan when Sam Rockwell accidentally kidnaps the dog of a dangerous gangster played by Woody Harrelson.
It's also nice to see Precious star Gabourey Sidibe getting more roles! Plus, is that Tom Waits? Sure is!
Looks like The Social Network is going to hit the Oscars hard this season!
Awards consultants for the Facebook movie have said that they'll be starting Best Supporting Actor campaigns for three actors in the film: Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, and Armie Hammer.
We're thinking Armie Hammer's role may be a strong candidate in this category, because he plays the Winklevoss twins (yes, he plays BOTH of the twins!)
Pretty impressive to play dual roles who communicate with each other…maybe the Academy will acknowledge it this year, even though that type of feat has been snubbed in the past (cough…Sam Rockwell in Moon….cough)
Do U think The Social Network is going to dominate the Oscars this year?
Kanye West may not have been having the best week - between the gay rumors, his latest temper tantrum, and a bruised up Lamborghini - but we have a feeling that with this weekend, all of that's about to change!
The sometimes-volatile yet supremely talented rapper has been hard at work recording his new album in Paris, and apparently, has few very creative, larger than life tricks up his sleeve for how he's going to begin its promotional campaign!
Which, of course, started last night, when he projected a video of himself performing his brand new single, New Slaves, onto the sides of 66 BUILDINGS LOCATED ALL OVER THE WORLD!
Ch-ch-check out to what the folks of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, were treated on the corner of Bedford and N. 7 (above)!
