Colin Kaepernick continues to take a stand… by not taking a stand during the national anthem.

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback knelt during the national anthem before an exhibition game on Thursday against the San Diego Chargers, continuing his protest against the social injustices running rampant in the country today.

Fans booed the 28-year-old before The Star Spangled Banner was even belted out by Petty Officer 1st Class Steven Powell, in honor of the 28th annual Salute to the Military night.

Kaepernick was heckled practically every time he touched the ball, but the NFL pro wasn't the only player who refused to stand this time around.

Not only did teammate Eric Reid drop to a knee, but the same night, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane also refused to stand during the national anthem ahead of his game against the Oakland Raiders:

When it rains, it pours; and when El Lay wants a pro football team, they get… three?!

Big news out of the City of Angels comes from the NFL Tuesday as three teams — the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders, and St. Louis Rams — all just filed paperwork to relocate there.

In a statement, the league confirmed the applications from each of the teams, noting:

"The applications will be reviewed this week by league staff and three league committees that will meet in New York on Wednesday and Thursday."

Of course, it's been about 20 years since the Rams and Raiders both left El Lay for St. Louis and Oakland, respectively — but now the pair as well as the Chargers want to get back to the glitz and glam of Hollywood!

There's still a ton of legal maneuvering to happen before any of this can be a reality, and it's not likely to expect all three teams to be playing football in the city; the NFL has said they will only support

OUCH! San Diego Chargers Players Hit Each Other So Hard Paint Flies Off Their Helmets! See The Cringeworthy GIF HERE!

san diego chargers hit each other so hard paint chips fly off helmet

They’re going to feel that in the morning!

The San Diego Chargers lost to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, but to add insult to injury, THIS happened (above)!

While trying to tackle Broncos’ Wes Welker, Chargers Marcus Gilchrist and Reggie Walker crashed into each other with such force that paint chips flew off Gilchrist’s helmet!

Gilchrist exited the game as a result with what people assumed was a concussion.

This is the kind of helmet-to-helmet stuff the NFL is trying to stop from happening, but it’s hard to stop teammate-on-teammate crime!

Wow! We had no idea Heidi Klum was such a big football fan!

And we're not talking about the fußball they play in Germany. We're talking about big guys in pads running around a field and hitting each other!

So, the smokin' hot model made her way to Qualcomm Stadium to watch the San Diego Chargers take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the last game of the regular season, and she let loose by sipping on some nice, refreshing beer! Wonder if it's GERMAN beer, tho??

Heidi definitely picked a good game too as the Chargers pulled off the win in overtime to earn the very last spot in the playoffs!

Looks like she's quite the good luck charm!

Looks like things are looking up for Manti Te'o!

After dealing with the devastating news that the woman he was talking to was actually a fake, the University of Notre Dame alum is now visiting various NFL teams.

So far, Manti visited the New York Giants as part as his pre-draft tour, and considering that the Giants have the 19th pick in the draft, there's a really good chance that Te'o may actually play for NY.
