Whhaaaat?!?

Last month, San Francisco Giants' Sergio Romo acted extra belligerent at the Sin City airport while possibly being under the influence of alcohol and was given a misdemeanor, but after careful examination of the situation, he isn't being charged with shiz because of "lack of prosecutorial resources."

A representative from the Clark County District Attorney's office shared:

Chicago Cubs Making 'It Gets Better' PSA

The Cubs it gets better

It is getting better!

We loved the San Francisco Giants "It Gets Better" PSA and we are happy to hear the Chicago Cubs will be the next major league team to produce a similar video.

The teams owner, Laura Ricketts, said in a statement:

"The Cubs applaud the Giants for their stand against anti-LGBT bullying. Bullying of anyone for any reason is unacceptable. We are proud to join the Giants in taking a stand against bullying and encourage other professional sports organizations to do the same."

The baseball club is no stranger to the LGBT community either and has actually been supporting it for years.

In 2001, the Cubs hosted the first Out At The Ballgame event, now called Out At Wrigley, which draws thousands and has also donated plenty of money to charity organizations benefiting the LGBT community. The team even has a float in the city's annual Pride Parade!

We'd like to thank the Cubs for their continued support of equality and can't wait to see the team join the "It Gets Better" campaign.

San Francisco Giants To Debut 'It Gets Better' PSA

Giants it gets better

The San Francisco Giants are throwing a curve ball at homophobia.

We are SO PROUD to hear that the baseball team will be the FIRST professional sports team in the history of sports to support the LGBT community by recording an "It Gets Better" video!

Yay!

The decision from the organization comes weeks after a coach for the Atlanta Braves spewed hateful gay slurs at a family while playing the Giants at home.

A spokesperson for the baseball team said:

"Details of the video are still being worked out so I can't provide you with specifics, but we are confirmed to produce and post a video."

This announcement follows the NBA's "Think B4 You Speak" campaign which discourages the use of gay slurs as insults on the court.

Up until recently, the athletic arena was one of the last places homophobia was being fought, but we're so glad that leagues, teams, and individuals are bringing the issue the attention it not only deserves, but NEEDS.

We can't ignore a problem and hope it goes away. By facing it head on, much like the Giants or the NBA, we'll eventually overcome any stigma homosexual athletes or fans face.

Thank you to all those involved who are leading the way!

Barry Bonds' Buddy Unleashes Damaging Steroid Testimony In Perjury Trial

Barry Bonds Perjury

Baseball's all-time home run leader, Barry Bonds, has some explaining to do!

The athletes perjury trial has begun after pleading not guilty to four counts of lying to a grand jury when he said he never knowingly took performance-enhancing drugs and one count of obstruction of justice.

With each count carrying a five-year prison sentence, Bonds is in some BIG trouble and testimonies are stacking up against him.

The baseball players former close friend and one time business associate, Steve Hoskins, took the stand this past Wednesday and unleashed some pret-ty damaging details.

Under oath, he talked about Bonds anabolic steroid use and how he talked about it openly with his personal trainer!

Hoskins said Barry Bonds told him to "find out about this Winstrol steroid and its effect" and even instructed him to talk to his physician about the steroid.

He revealed he frequently saw Bonds' personal trainer, Greg Anderson, handling needles in the baseball players house and that during spring training in 2000 Bonds complained "his butt was sore from the injections (of steroids)."

Hoskins shared the noticeable changes in his friends physical size and that by 2003 it "seemed to be getting out of hand."

Bond's former buddy even shared a secret audio tape he recorded for the sake of showing Barry's father his son's steroid use.

During the tape, Barry's trainer and Hoskins seem to be discussing the baseball players steroid injections.

Ouch! Sounds like Bonds may be in trouble.

One of his ex-girlfriends is expected to take the stand soon to testify against the ball player and outline his steroid use as well.

We'll be sure to follow this trial as the testimonies continue.
