Americans owe our freedom to our soldiers, and the runners in San Jose’s 408K Race were very aware of that as they ran eight kilometers over the weekend.
The route went past World War II veteran Joe Bell’s house, and he wanted to show the runners his support!
So, despite the drizzle, the 95-year-old was in front of his house, cheering on the runners in uniform.
