After a long week of feuding with her co-star on the American Idol judges panel, we don't blame Mariah Carey for wanting to let off a little steam while spending Saturday afternoon with her husband Nick Cannon, and adorable children Monroe and Moroccan on the Santa Monica Pier!

And apparently, the diva likes to let loose the SAME way we do: by riding roller coasters!

This summer, people will be able to participate in a bike race on the Santa Monica Pier!

Sounds dangerous and cramped?

No worries, it's a stationary cycling race, or a "spin-a-thon!"

Kris Allen took to Twitter last night to inform fans that he was going to surprise them with an impromptu performance at the Santa Monica Pier last night, but unfortunately, right in the middle of his set, the fuzz forced him to pull the plug because he didn't have a permit!

And then after Kris apologized, the officer REFUSED to shake his hand! Ugh!

Amidst speculation that she and her boyfriend, Jason Trawick were having some relationship problems, Miz Britney Spears was spotted with him and the kiddies, Sean Preston and Jayden James, at the Santa Monica Pier yesterday!

There seems to be trouble in paradise, however - while Tater Tot and Small Fry played on the rides, Brit Brit did NOT look amused, and kept giving her man some mayjah bitch face!

We think it might be time for those two to call it quits!
