Shonda Rhimes is the modern day William Shakespeare, officially.
With Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder currently killing it on ABC, it's no surprise that yet another ShondaLand scripted series was just given a pilot order.
Still Star-Crossed will follow the characters who managed to survive Shakespeare's literary classic as they deal with the deaths of Romeo and Juliet — but knowing Shonda, there's gotta be at least four love triangles thrown into the mix somehow.
Shondaland may be known for the roller-coaster of emotions it puts its viewers through on a weekly basis, but the trailers for the mid-season premieres just dropped on Thursday, and they're more like rocket rides.
For one thing, Kerry Washington is straight up ditching her white hat in favor of a red coat and she could not look more badass while teasing Scandal.
"It's over between Rico and I. This is where I part ways and all bets are off … I can't for the life of me understand why Rico would video himself f*cking 'raw dog' ONE of his MANY extraneous whores that 'trick' on him for his money."
AND SHE INCLUDED THE SEX TAPE TO PROVE IT.
The Happily Divorced star (ha) reportedly went on to call out 20 of the women by name, who she referred to as "extraneous Kim Kardashian wanna be's." She also shared her plans to get tested for STDs since discovering the ongoing infidelity.
Ironically enough… Arnold appeared on the Wendy Williams show last year where she talked about the secret to her marriage with Rico, and her very strong opinion against sex tapes. Watch (below)!
A rep for Hines said in a statement:
"This is a private and deeply personal matter between my wife and me, and I do not want to comment any further at this time."
This is too funny — and the presidential candidate is actually pretty good at this game!
Hillary Clinton will appear for a full interview on Ellen DeGeneres' daytime talk show on Monday, January 11, but at least for now we've been given an AH-mazing teaser with special guest Tony Goldwyn from Scandal!
The real-life presidential hopeful got a Scandal-ous surprise as the TV president joined the show to play a rousing game of Ellen's popular charade challenge "Heads Up!" — and it turns out the former Secretary of State isn't too bad at it, either!!
Ch-ch-check out Ellen, Hillary and Tony demolish a round of Heads Up (below)!!!
