Hollywood may be going overboard with the remakes lately, but this one is shaping up to look pretty promising!!
Universal has reported that the remake to the 1983 hit Scarface is still underway. Scribe Jonathan Herman, who also wrote the highly anticipated gagster-rap biopic Straight Outta Compton, is set to pen the script!
But this remake isn't exactly retelling the same story of the Cuban refugee Tony Montana taking over the drug scene in Miami. The new script will be set in Los Angeles and follow an immigrant's rise in the criminal underworld.

Interesting! We wonder how this remake will stack up to the original. Especially since the 1983 classic featured Al Pacino reciting one of the most iconic lines in movie history: "Say hello to my little friend!"
No pressure, guys!

What a weirdly disturbing situation!
On Tuesday a horribly misguided Hollywood dude dressed up like Tony Montana — the murderous drug kingpin Al Pacino played in Scarface — and got into a frightening real-life skirmish with El Lay PD!
The unidentified man not only dressed like the psychotic character, but he wielded a REAL knife, and shouted out Tony's dialogue at the police!!
We are told he waved around a copy of the DVD, too!!
What the hell!?
After a 6-hour standoff, in which the suspect yelled "f**king cops!" over & over again, the po-po finally

Though she may find it laughable, Emma Stone is going to have to get used to appearing on best-dressed lists in Vogue and elsewhere.
She sure can dress!
The 24-year-old attended the premiere of her new movie Gangster Squad at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in El Lay on Monday wearing a cherry red Lanvin dress accented with an eye-catching floral brooch at the waist.
And with her sleek bob and smoky eyes, she was the hottest gangster moll since Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface!
Emma accessorized her seksi look with red Christian Louboutin pumps and a bold Lanvin statement necklace.

Yep, it's true! You can say hello to your little friend all over again!
Universal Pictures is working on a "new version" of the Scarface classic.
Originally, the title was released in 1932 as a Howard Hughes joint.
But then of course the Al Pacino version came to fruition in 1983 with the character Tony Montana as a hottie face.
This NEW version will

It's been a little over a year since rapper Scarface
quit retired from music and dropped his last album. But now, he has announced he is releasing an independent mixtape and is looking to get back into the game.
He explains that he never really left the craft, just the business and sees the opportunity to come back to the fold with his new stuff. He says:
"I love music, I eat, sleep and shit music. I always wanted to drop a mixtape on my own. So I just said, 'Let's drop an independent mixtape.' I feel that I should be an adult and musician and pioneer - that's what they call me. I feel that I need to move on to another stage with the way I deliver my music to the public. I got a lot of shit and I'm using about three per cent of what I know about music. I'm not using it all. I'm music. I can play that shit long enough for a real musician to catch it and feel me, where I'm going, and we make magic like that."
Magic, huh? Well, we'll see about that.
We don't see too much of a point coming back to the biz now, especially since we can't remember who the hell you were then.
But that's just us. What about U?
