$98 Million Worth Of Cocaine Seized!!!

Our Hong Kong Coke Was Seized Oh No What Will We Tell Our Boss

Hole. Lee. Crap.

$98 Million worth of cocaine has been seized in Hong Kong… which, scientifically, is a shizz load!

We're talking 649 KILOS.

For the metric impaired, that's 1,430 POUNDS!

The drugs were caught in a shipping container that arrived at Hong Kong's port from Ecuador. It was probably headed for Southeast Asia or mainland China.

Because we're badasses like this, the container happened to be one that the U.S. DEA flagged for Hong Kong to take a closer look.

Wow, someone is going to be in HUGE trouble over this in the drug syndicate!

We wouldn't want to be them!

Bill Nye Vs. Climate Change!

Get'em, Bill Nye!

Check out Bill Nye keeping his cool while under attack about his scientifically supported standpoint on global warming.

The weird thing is that rationality and scientific proof still doesn't seem to sway her from stooping low and calling into question his credibility by calling him "wacky."

Such a burrrrrrrn! Ha!

You can be both wacky AND right!

Check out the exchange (above)!

Angelina Jolie Signs Up For Another New Flick!

Oh, nice! This is going to be QUITE the pairing!

Angelina Jolie may be moving into behind-the-camera work, but she has reportedly in talks to go back to acting for a currently untitled, big-scale movie by Transporter and Taken director Luc Besson!

According to sources, the project is a dramatic thriller rooted in true scientific elements, and the actress will begin production on it in the spring if all goes as planned!

Between this and Gertrude Bell - on which she'll reportedly begin work upon the Besson project's completion - she's certainly keeping herself busy!

Not that we're complaining!

We love our Angie on the big screen!

Anderson Cooper's Cell Phone Has Poop On It Too!

Ewwww! LOLz!

Yesterday we learned the disgusting fact that 1 out of every 6 cell phones has fecal matter on it because not enough people wash their hands after the bathroom.

On Wednesday's episode of Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show, CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta will give the host the unfortunate news that his cell phone has tested positive for poopy germs!

More specifically "fecal strep", but that's just scientific mumbo jumbo for poopy germs.

Check out the clip from Wednesday's Anderson above!

Beating The Heat At Night

Beating The Night Heat

Ever wonder why it's harder to sleep when it's hot in your room than when it's not?

There's actually a scientific reason for it, and it isn't just because it's uncomfortable to lie there in a layer of your own sweat.

"Sleep is associated with a steady decline in our core body temperature. It should reach its lowest point approximately three hours before we wake.

Therefore, when we are overheated and this natural temperature drop is impeded, then sleep is disrupted."

Luckily, there are a few things that you can do to help this.

Easily enough, just take a cool shower. It's less about the temperature of the shower, and more about the cooling process as the water evaporates off your skin.

Take it right before bed!

Another cool but odd option would be to get one of those bubbling waterfall machines (with actual water) because it turns out that just the sound of running water makes people feel cooler!

Other than that, get some AC up in that piece! Ha!

No Scientific Evidence Colon Cleansers Improve Health

Colon Cleanser

Yes, that's right. You may have been pumping water up your rectum in vain.

After reviewing 20 different studies on colon cleansers published over the last decade, scientists have found no evidence that they actually improve your health.

On the contrary, scientists found more evidence that they can actually be HARMFUL and associated with bloating, vomiting, cramping, renal failure and even death.

Yikes!

These popular procedures — whether undergone with the help of a professional or with some kind of a colon cleanse kit at home — are meant to clear your body of toxins that accumulate in the colon, which can spur a variety of ills.

However, the American Medical Association said that the "procedure was invalid" in the early 20th century and many modern concoctions don't require FDA approval.

Sources have reported that having a "colon hydrotherapist" pump water in and out of the rectum with a rubber tube has the potential to damage the colon tissue.

Regardless of the study's findings, there are still those who swear by the benefits of a good ol' colon cleanse and insist more studies are needed before people condemn it.

The choice is yours, but make sure you go to a licensed professional if you do decide to opt for a cleanse.

David Beckham's Geeky T-Shirt

beckham_teeshirt_e.jpg lightdark_cu_e.jpg

Sexy soccer star David Beckham has recently been spotted wearing a t-shirt by former model turned designer David Lindwall. But unless you're some kind of mathematical or scientific genius, just looking at it will give you a headache!

We're not even going to try and break down the meaning of the t-shirt it because Lindwall does it best.

He says the nonsensical garment is his "artistic interpretation of a few different scientific equations concerning black matter and time travel. It represents the combining of a scientific and emotional explanation for the dichotomy of good/bad, light/dark."

Umm…cool?

And if the printed diagram didn't hurt your brain, the price will. It goes for a whopping $110.

We'd like to see him explain that!
