This morning, Allison Coss and Scott Sippola, the Michigan couple who tried to extort $680,000 out of John Stamos, were each sentenced to four years in prison!

You'll recall the couple attempted to suck money out of John by claiming they had evidence of him snorting cocaine and hooking up with strippers and were ready to sell it to the tabloids if he didn't pay up.

Now, its them who are paying the hefty price. Earlier in the week, the couple had hoped they would receieve less severe sentences, but U.S. District Judge R. Allan Edgar wasn't having any of that.

After accepting their sentences, Mr. Sippola released a statement, apologizing for her actions:

"I sought to exploit my knowledge of the personal weaknesses of a perfect stranger for my own undeserved financial gain. I would be angry and hurt if that had happened to me and I am certain that Mr. Stamos feels that way towards me."

Well, duh! He sure as hell doesn't want to send you a box of kittens and kisses!

John was reportedly absent from the proceedings, probably opting to spend the day basking in a Gleeful afternoon in El Lay then lay eyes on those criminals!

Following Thursday's guilty verdict, John Stamos is going after the couple who tried to extort him over alleged photos of him with cocaine and strippers.

Stamos released a statement through his Twitter:

“I would like to thank the court, the FBI and the US Attorney’s office for their swift and efficient dealings in connection with this case.

I am shocked and perplexed how individuals could fabricate so many false stories in an effort to defend a crime. I agreed to be a witness for a federal criminal prosecution and endured countless false accusations about my behavior and appropriateness. The allegations made regarding an inappropriate relationship are completely untrue. These slanderous allegations to smear my reputation were part of their defense to redirect attention away from the federal crime of extortion. There was no hot tub, no drugs, no nudity and nothing sexual in nature involved in my friendship with this woman. They lied about everything from a pregnancy to compromising photos.

I'm grateful these two criminals have been found guilty and I plan to go home to be with my family and friends and prepare to get back to work.”

Luckily for Stamos, Allison Coss and Scott Sippola were found guilty on charges of conspiracy and using e-mail to threaten a person's reputation. They face a sentence of up to five years in prison.

We bet Uncle Jesse hopes the court doesn't have mercy!

Allison Coss and Scott Sippola have been found guilty on two counts of extortion and one count conspiracy of extortion in the John Stamos trial.

The duo will be sentenced on October 8th.

John must be thrilled!
