Wow… this is all beginning to sound like such a clusterf*ck!

When asked if he's still leading Stone Temple Pilots, rock icon Scott Weiland confidently says, "I started it."

And according to him, the statement released regarding his 'termination' was just a publicity stunt to boost ticket sales.

He also says there's no way they can fire him… because it's not allowed in the contract!

Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland has commented on his sudden "termination" from the band, and he is obviously NOT happy.

Scott said in a statement:

Whoa! Rock band Stone Temple Pilots has fired lead singer Scott Weiland!!

This caught their fans by surprise and the statement they released didn't help much. It said:

"Stone Temple Pilots have announced they have officially terminated Scott Weiland."

That's it. That's the entire statement. Though it's less a statement and more a sentence.

Weiland had been with the band since they formed in 1986!

Mr. Weiland honors the legends of the '40s and '50s by releasing a very jazzy and classic-sounding album that has that old-fashioned crooner feel.

Scott Weiland has inflamed vocal chords, which you can imagine is not a good thing for a lead singer, his band, or the fans expecting to see shows soon.

The Stone Temple Pilots frontman were forced to cancel their concert in Cincinnati right before they were supposed to play.

People are getting full refunds, but what a bummer it is still!

Scott, we hope you feel better soon so you can start rocking again!
