A 'Disappointed' James Corden Apologizes For Kissing Sean Spicer At The 2017 Emmys!

James Corden apologizes for kissing sean spicer at the emmys

James Corden is kicking himself right now.

As we previously reported, Sean Spicer surprised the Emmys audience by appearing at the award show on Sunday. While many laughed at Spicey "crashing" the Emmys, others were not quite ready to see the Donald Trump lackey front and center again.

Kellyanne Conway Was NOT Happy With Stephen Colbert's 'Politicized' Emmys!

Filed under: TV NewsPolitikDonald TrumpStephen ColbertEmmysControversy

Kellyanne Conway

Apparently, celebrities aren't allowed to comment when their fellow celebrity becomes President.

As you saw last night, the Emmys took aim at Donald Trump thanks to host Stephen Colbert — and even former Press Secretary Sean Spicer was in on the joke!

Appearing on Fox & Friends on Monday morning, Kellyanne Conway expressed her displeasure with the awards show becoming so politicized:

"It's — between the Emmys, the Miss America pageant was very politicized. Our sports are very politicized. And it looks like the ratings are suffering. It looks like America is responding by tuning out, because they want you to stick to your knitting."

The queen of alternative facts added:

"They got plucked and polished and waxed and some of them didn't eat for two months, and all for what? To sound the same? They have the right to speak, but if you're an American and you're tuning in to watch your favorite actors and actresses and shows ― and I used to do it routinely as a kid. Who's going to win? Oh, she lost? I love her show ― there is very little of that."

As for Spicey jumping ship and hanging with Hollywood's elite, Conway commented:

Here's Why People Are Pissed About Belle Of The Ball Sean Spicer's Cameo Last Night At The Emmys

Sean Spicer

Can we really forgive Sean Spicer this easily?

While we admit the former Press Secretary's cameo during Stephen Colbert's opening bit at the Emmys was pretty funny — we feel some type of way about seeing Hollywood buddying up to this man who unapologetically spewed alternative facts in the name of Donald Trump to the American public.

After Spicer made a crack onstage about the award show's crowd size, he stuck around to pose with pictures with A-list celebs like Alec Baldwin, Dolly Parton, James Corden, LL Cool J, Michael Kelly, and Gerald McRaney.

Understandably, people watching at home were not thrilled that CBS was seemingly rewarding and trying to normalize an official who made a career out of lying to us. It wasn't so funny just a few months ago.

Sean Spicer Sits Down With Jimmy Kimmel To Discuss Donald Trump's Tweets, Fake News, & Melissa McCarthy's SNL Impression — WATCH!

Ever wonder what Sean Spicer is up to these days ever since he got the boot from the White House?

Us neither… but apparently Jimmy Kimmel was, so the late night host had the former press secretary on his show Wednesday night to discuss his time serving under Donald Trump.

In the 20-minute interview, Spicer stayed relatively loyal to POTUS, but admitted that even though he didn't always agree, it was his responsibility to "represent the president's voice."

Sean Spicer Really Was Offered Dancing With The Stars — And He Turned It Down!

no title

Wow.

When we heard rumors last week that Sean Spicer was being courted by ABC to join Dancing With The Stars next season, we kinda thought it was fake news.

But according to TMZ, Donald Trump's former press secretary was indeed offered a slot as a contestant — but he turned them down!

Apparently his flattered rejection was about having an "overwhelming number of commitments in the fall," which may well be true as we've heard he's being courted by many news channels. (Though TMZ's sources say he's "not a good dancer" anyway.)

Too bad. We thought he danced beautifully…

Jeff Sessions Says Trump's Criticisms About Him Were 'Hurtful,' But He'll Still Serve As Attorney General As Long As He's Wanted!

Jeff Sessions knows his days might be numbered.

The Attorney General is well aware that he disappointed Donald Trump by recusing himself from the investigation into ties between Russia and the Trump campaign — and he isn't taking the boss's criticism lightly, tbh.

In an interview with Fox News' Tucker Carlson, the AG admitted Trump's criticism was "kind of hurtful," but said that's just how things go when you work for such a "strong leader."

Starting to sound real desperate there, Jeff.

In a separate interview with the AP, the Alabama politician confessed this hasn't been the "best week" in his relationship with POTUS, but noted he will continue to serve the president as long as he's wanted.

Trump has publicly blasted Sessions for the past week, prompting speculation that the AG would shortly go the way of Sean Spicer.

Sessions has acknowledged that possibility, saying Trump has every right to call in another attorney general. He declared:
