Seamless.com's current slogan is "your food is here," but they might want to change it to something more along the lines of "be careful what you wish for!"
The food delivery website recently offered a special promotion for fans of Lena Dunham's hit show, Girls — order during the season premiere and get 15% off your grand total — but nothing went as expected.
The marketing campaign worked; it worked too well, in fact.
Apparently so many fans of the show took the website up on its offer that its servers wound up crashing!
