Countless organizations have taken the steps to help raise money for victims of the mass shooting in Orlando — but one effort came across more insensitive than charitable.
According to reports, a Chicago-area gun store set up a raffle to raise money for the victims of the massacre.
And the prize of the raffle being offered by Second Amendment Sports is none other than an AR-15 rifle — the same type of weapon that Omar Mateen used to kill 49 people earlier this month.
Despite this raffle sounding like something from a rejected Saturday Night Live sketch, the owners of the gun shop insist their efforts were genuine.
