Sami, this was great! Fab!

If you didn't know Sami Brookes was only able to perform for the live show because Goldie couldn't go on. This is a second chance out of no where for the older contestant — and we think she's proven that she should be there!!

Awesome work, Sami!

Do U agree that she should have been given the second shot??

Eddie Murphy Confirms That He WILL Host Next Year's Oscars!

eddie murphy confirms he will host oscars

This is your chance, Eddie! We'll forget ALL about The Haunted Mansion and Dr. Doolittle 1 & 2 and Norbit and Nutty Professor II: The Klumps and Meet Dave if you do this one right! LOLz.

Earlier today, we heard that next year's Oscars show producer Brett Ratner wants Eddie Murphy to host the show, because after directing him in Tower Heist he thinks that Eddie is the ONLY man for the job!

While we've been conditioned to be skeptical about nearly everything Eddie Murphy-related over the years, we were thinking that this could be his chance to prove us wrong and turn it all around.

Looks like he's going to get that chance, because he's reportedly officially agreed to host the 84th Academy Awards!

Let's do this thing, Eddie! Remind us why we loved you in Coming to America, Trading Places, and Beverly Hills Cop!

Good luck!

White House Confirms: Obama Called Eagles About Michael Vick

White House Confirms: Obama Called Michael Vick

The Obama administration confirmed that the President made a call to the Philadelphia Eagles to show support their decision to give Michael Vick a second chance.

However, they say that the central message of the call was Obama praising them for using alternative energy sources at their stadium.

Said a spokesperson:

“The President did place a call to Mr. Lurie to discuss plans for the use of alternative energy at Lincoln Financial Field, during which they spoke about that and other issues. He of course condemns the crimes that Michael Vick was convicted of but, as he's said previously, he does think that individuals who have paid for their crimes should have an opportunity to contribute to society again.”

We agree — Vick did terrible things, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible for him to be rehabilitated!

N.E.R.D. Shows Love For Chris Brown On New Album

nerd dedicates song to chris brown

As much as we were hesitant to say it, we liked Chris Brown's new song Yeah 3X, and we're curious to see where he goes from here musically.

Looks like we're not the only ones giving him some reluctant love out there.

N.E.R.D. has dedicated their new song God Bless Us All to Chris.

Here's what N.E.R.D frontman Pharrell Williams had to say about it:

"'God Bless Us All' is about Chris. When you hear me say, 'Hold your head up lil' bruh,' I'm talking about Chris. When I say, ‘You're a Brown in this world that's black and white,' I wasn't talking about the fact that there are issues and you're either black or white. I was saying the world is just very clear. It's black and white."

Looks like the song was made in an attempt to keep Chris optimistic, and not focus on the negative.

We're still not at a point or anywhere near it where we would dedicate a song to Chris Brown, but we certainly agree with the message of focusing on the positives in life.

What do U think of N.E.R.D.'s song being dedicated to Chris Brown?

Slash And Wife Reconcile! He Wants His Divorce Petition Dismissed!

slash wants his divorce to be dismissed

Will the court let Slash have his wife back?

Slash and his wife, Perla Ferrar, have reconciled, so the rocker has filed for a dismissal of his divorce in L.A. County Superior Court.

Hopefully the court will sign off on the dismissal.

If they both want back in, we see no reason why they shouldn't get a second chance!

Good luck this time, bbs! We hope it works out!

Oprah Offers Sarah Ferguson Her Own Show

Filed under: TV NewsRoyals RoyceOprah Winfrey

picture-2.jpg

Oprah wants to give Sarah Ferguson a second chance.

After the shame of being caught on camera for trading royal access for cash, Oprah has decided to offer the Duchess of York her very own TV show, which would air on Oprah's new network, launching in January.

A source says:

“Oprah made the call this week. They spoke in person and, for Sarah, the offer is a ray of light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Oprah has known Sarah for some time and the Duchess went on Oprah’s show to explain herself after her most recent scandal. Oprah has always been impressed by Sarah’s ability to pick herself up and reinvent herself. She feels Sarah will be someone viewers of her new channel will be able to relate to on many levels — she’s a divorcee, a working mother, someone who has made some very public mistakes and a woman who, like Oprah, constantly battles with her weight. Oprah was impressed by Sarah’s ability to face up to her errors and to apologize publicly for them. Americans love people who reinvent themselves and Oprah believes Sarah can do that on the new network. Sarah also believes her chances of finding meaningful work in Britain are negligible and she has always felt more accepted in America. The idea would be for her to be based in New York so that she could return to England regularly to see the Princesses. At the end of the day she needs to earn a living."

This is such a great opportunity for the Royal Fergie! We hope she doesn't mess it up!!
