Chico & Jack

This is so heart-warming!!

At Denver's MaxFund Animal Adoption Center there's an adorable dog named Chico who happens to be blind.

Chico isn't a helpless dog though.

He can run and walk and open gates and can get around like normal with the help of his very own seeing-eye dog!

Blind Great Dane

Lily is a Great Dane who lost both of her eyes due to an incurable condition when she was 18 months old.

She originally lived with her sister dog, Maddison, and the two of them have been at a shelter for the past 5 years.

Maddison and Lily are inseparable, with Maddison acting as Lily's seeing eye dog.

She always walks close to her and touches her to lead her around.

They sleep together and play and bark just like normal dogs.

But every time someone visited the shelter, they were overlooked because they're big dogs, come as a pair and one was blind.

Blind Dog Guided By Seeing Eye Dog

If blind humans use guide dogs, whose to say a blind dog can't use one either?

Two dogs who have been turned over to Lucky Paws Animal Adoption in Albequerque, New Mexico share a special bond that the adoption agency refuses to break.

Scarlett, a Chuhuahua mix, serves as a guide dog to a blind Miniature Pinscher named Rhett.

The doggy duo were handed over to the adoption agency after their owner was no longer able to take care of them and due to their unique relationship, the agency required potential parents to adopt BOTH of them or none.

Scarlett, who has "never led him astray", wears a bell on her collar that allows her blind "brother" to follow toward food, bathroom spots, and even through doorways, which would be almost impossible otherwise for Rhett.

We're happy to report that the pair is still together after being adopted by a nurse who has experience caring for blind dogs!

Yay! We love happy endings!

Check out the video above for the full news story and to catch a glimpse of the caring canine companions in action.
