Baby got back AND higher self-esteem!

A nationwide study has found that heavier set African American women are actually happier with their bodies than most average-sized or thin Caucasian women.

The survey by the Washington Post and the Kaiser Family Foundation interviewed 800 women across the country to discover 66% of overweight or obese black women had high self-esteem, while only 41% of skinny white women could say the same!

Although they love their curves, 90% African American women revealed in the survey that they thought living a healthy lifestyle is more important that religion, career and marriage. 28% were also more likely to insist that being physically attractive is "very important", while only 11% of white women could say the same.

The average Caucasian participant was more likely to agree that being physically attractive is only "somewhat important."

Do U think these findings are actually representative of all black and white women across the United States?

Facebook logo complainers

And the average Facebook user doesn't like people who just update their status with complaint after complaint.

A study published in Psychological Science has found that Facebook isn't the best place for people with already low self-esteem to make friends.

While sharing is an important part of friendship, constantly sending out negative messages to those friends, via status update, is not. Unfortunately, the study has found that is exactly what people with low self-esteem do.

Ugh! SO effing SAD!

Demi Moore has been regarded as one of the hottest women in Hollywood before.

Unfortunately, she doesn't exactly feel the same way about herself it seems.

She recently told Bazaar:

Jodie Marsh Transforms From Nude Model Into Bodybuilder

Naked Model

Jodie Marsh, former British glamour model and reality star, has totally transformed her body and profession!

Instead of showing off her body in naked photos, she's showing it off on stage in bodybuilding competitions!

Despite gracing the pages of hundreds men's magazines in the past, she says, "I feel sexier than I have for ten years!"

She admits going though a 2-year drought with men, but says that quickly ended once she shed 20 pounds of fat in just 8 weeks, explaining:

"I have never attracted so much interest from blokes in my life. It's been a real eye-opener. For the last two years I went through a complete drought of men. No one was chatting me up. I despaired of ever having a boyfriend, or even a date, again. But since I became a bodybuilder I've suddenly got about 50 guys interested in me."

For the record, we think she looked pret-ty dang good before, but it doesn't sound she was truly happy, saying:

"There were times in the past when I hated the way I looked. I once went on The Jeremy Kyle Show because I had become suicidal. I had such low self-esteem."

However, after placing 5th in her first ever body building competition, Jodie says she has a "whole new career and a new lease of life."

She isn't advocating her own extreme workouts — 8 hours in the gym a day, 7 days a week — but she does hope to inspire others battling depression and low self-esteem, saying:

"What I did for the contest was extreme and I'm not advocating that for anyone else. What I'm saying is try exercise, get yourself off the sofa. You don't know how much your life could change for the better."

We totally agree. Not all of us want to be bodybuilders, but that doesn't mean we can't have healthier bodies!

Jessica Simpson: "Blah Blah Blah"

Jessica Simpson is all about having a positive attitude and boosting her self-esteem!

She recently spoke at New York's Operation Smile Annual Gala and told the audience:

"Trust me: I've been through it. I've had to travel from country to country but we can do it right here in America and find ourselves, believe in ourselves and be who we are. It's happening and I feel it. I think [30] is going to be a good year for me. I experienced a lot in my twenties – a lot more than a lot of people in their twenties would experience. I feel old in a lot of ways, but I feel naive in ways that I can't wait to see what happens next."

LOL what???

And as for her rocky romantic past, she says, "I can find love anywhere."

We bet you can, after being compared to sexual napalm!

You just keep doing what you do, Jess, whatever that is.
