She looks fierce!
Lady GaGa took her first self-portrait for the cover of The Advocate's August issue while on tour in Germany and we have to say, she looks amazing.
In the magazine article, GaGa had a few choice words for her skeptics who say that she uses the gay community to sell her records.
"[It's] probably one of the most ridiculous statements anyone can make about me,” Gaga states with a hint of frustration in her voice. I would say the top thing I think about every single day of my life, other than my fans, loving the music, and my family being healthy, is social justice and equality.
Rumors, shots at me as a human being, that’s what comes with the territory of being a musician and being someone who is a public figure. I care only about what I can change. What can I push forward? How can I be a part of the fight for modern social issues?"
She also goes into detail about her meeting with top Target executives who wanted to sell a special edition CD of Born This Way. After it was revealed that the company's corporate PAC made campaign contributions to support antigay candidate Tom Emmer for governor of Minnesota, GaGa told them, "You're either going to try and change or you're not." When they didn't meet her standards, she pulled out of the deal.
And rightfully so.
GaGa has been a force in the LGBT community and she will always remain an inspiration with her constant support of change.
And the cover is beautiful too. Well done, Mother Monster.

At a Bonhams New York auction yesterday, Eric Clapton's 75 guitars and 55 amps sold for a total of $2.15 million! WOW!
Best part about it? The proceeds are going to benefit "a drug and alcohol treatment center Clapton founded in the West Indies."
As a recovered addict himself, Clapton formed nonprofit Crossroads Centre in Antigua in '98 in an effort to give back.
Good for you, Eric! This is a wonderful gesture! You've gained some serious points in our book for this one.
We still can't get over that number! $2.15 million! Fantastic!
How much would U pay for an Eric Clapton guitar?

Last month, an Andy Warhol portrait of Mao Zedong from late actor Dennis Hopper's collection sold for $302,500.
While that seemed like a lot of money at the time, it's NOTHING compared to what art dealer Larry Gagosian paid for a Warhol self portrait at Christie's on Wednesday.
Gagosian dropped 10.8 million pounds, or $17 million, on a "crimson acrylic and silkscreen Warhol portrait, dating from 1967," which hadn't been publicly shown in over 30 years!
Overall, the Christie’s International auction made 61.4 million pounds ($99 million), strongly contributing to the Art Boom currently taking place in London.
Who is your favorite artist? How much would U spend for their work?

On Wednesday night, Tom Ford put his Andy Warhol Self Portrait painting up for auction at Sotheby's New York.
The painting, which is one of five, was expected to take in $15 million, but the final bid blew that out of the water!
The purple portrait sold for an astounding $32.6 MILLION.
We're not sure home much Tom will get from the sale, but we're sure most of it will go towards the funding of his women's collection.
