You might call it fate or destiny or just sheer coincidence, but the choices Gwyneth Paltrow made on September 11, 2001 ended up saving the life of a woman she never knew.
Lara Lundstrom Clarke was on her way to work that morning at the Twin Towers as many New Yorkers were. She was rushing to catch her train into Midtown and in her haste, she jaywalked to the subway station. As she crossed 7th Avenue, a Mercedes SUV came barreling toward her and stopped only inches away from her. Startled, Lara stopped in her tracks and watched as the driver composed herself. Sure enough, it was Gwyn and after a moment, she waved Lara on to finishing crossing the street. But Lara had already missed her train. She never made it to the World Trade Center that morning and now she's alive to talk about it.
Gosh. How many stories have we all heard just like that in the last ten years? Sounds like Gwyn has a fan for life with Lara!

It's a good thing Obama gave the go ahead with killing Osama bin Laden!
According to officials, not only did the terrorist leader have plans to celebrate the tenth year anniversary of 9/11, but he was also planning on assassinating the President!
He planned to bomb Obama down during an Air Force One ride.
Silly Osama. That would have been nearly impossible given Obama's high security.
He did have more realistic plans though, including an idea to bomb an American sporting event.
It's terrible to learn about these things, but maybe this will shut up the dum-dums who thought they were on the same team. Or the even dumber ones who thought they were the same person!

We definitely would love to hang out on set during this shoot!
Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock are slated to star alongside each another in an adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer’s 2005 novel Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
The story revolves around an intellectual, nine-year old tambourine playing kid who searches for a lock to match a mysterious key that his father left behind after his death in the World Trade Center on September 11.
The boy’s parents will be played by Hanks and Bullock. Filmmakers are currently searching an actor to play the nine-year old boy.
Should be very inneresting to see how the Hanks/Bullock chemistry plays on-screen. We'll go in optimistically.
What do U think of the Hanks/Bullock combo?
