Look Where We Found Nic Cage!

In an ironic sort of place that is equally HIGHlarious!

Remember that movie Raising Arizona? It's the one where - 80s SPOILER ALERT - Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter steal a baby and go on the run.

Well, for some odd reason we can't even begin to fathom, a shot from the film ended up on the cover of a Serbian 8th grade biology textbook.

Gosh! Is that where babies really come from? Rich people in Arizona?!

The lies our mother told us!!!!

Chelsea Handler Vs. Serbia!

chelsea-handler-angers-serbia-for-jokes-during-show

If anyone could manage to piss of an entire country, it'd be her!

Chelsea Handler is receiving some serious flack from the people of Serbia after the talk show comedienne "ruthlessly attacked" the country on her show while discussing Amy Winehouse's recent disaster of a concert in Belgrade!

Apparently, along with guests Chris Franjola, Natasha Leggero, and Greg Proops, Handler moved past criticizing the Brit singer and referenced Serbian Defense Minister's description of the concert as a "shame and disappointment," and then retaliated:

Amy Winehouse Cancels Next Few Tour Dates

Filed under: Music MinuteAmy WinehouseSad Sad

Shocking.

Earlier, we posted Amy Winehouse's disastrous performances from Saturday night's Serbia concert (above). Now, her reps have confirmed that she has canceled the next few dates on her European tour, including an appearance in Istanbul on Monday and in Athens on Wednesday.

Good move, Team Wino.

Her spokesman confirmed that the decision was made because "she cannot perform to the best of her ability."

Yes, CLEARLY Amy is not ready to perform and it's not fair for her fans to shell out money to see a half-assed performance. Amy clearly needs help and her one week in rehab was obviously not enough.

Amy Winehouse Gives Disastrous Performance In Belgrade, Gets Booed Off Stage

Filed under: Music MinuteAmy WinehouseSad SadRehab

This isn't exactly the kind of Father's Day Amy Winehouse's dad was hoping for.

The troubled singer gave a DI-SASTROUS performance in Belgrade, Serbia on Saturday, which had the audience booing her off stage! Amy was seen stumbling across stage, forgetting lyrics, and even going so far as moaning into the mic, which she later drops, and then having to have her backup singer finish the song for her.

Kicking off her European tour, critics called her performance "the worst [concert] in the history of Belgrade."

Are we even surprised?

Yes and no. Amy had just finished a week in rehab and her people were optimistic she was ready and willing to continue on the right track. Alcohol and drugs were banned from her tour, but it seems Amy still got a hold of a little drinky-drinky because after watching the (above) videos, it's very obvious that Amy is out of it.

Check out her "performance" above. It's pretty hard to watch.

Serbian Protest Of Gay Pride Parade Turns Into Violent Riot!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooGay Gay GayPolitik

rioters-protest-gay-pride-parade-in-belgrade-serbia

Just disgusting.

A gay pride march in Belgrade, Serbia turned violent on Sunday when 6,000 right-wing, anti-gay rioters descended upon the crowd with Molotov cocktails and stun grenades, ultimately leaving 140 hurt and 200 arrested.

5,600 riot police were on hand to battle the rioters, who screamed "death to homosexuals!" as they tried to break through security cordons, set fire to cars, hurled bricks through windows, resulting in $1.39 million in damages. Police were forced to rely on tear gas to restore peace.

Political analyst Miljenko Dereta explained:

"This was undoubtedly a political message, an attempt to destabilize the country and this government. The rioters had political support."

However, President Boris Tadic was left undeterred by the extremist actions, and maintains:

"Serbia will guarantee human rights for all its citizens, regardless of the differences among them, and no attempts to revoke these freedoms with violence will be allowed."

Democratic Party spokeswoman Jelana Trivan continues:

"These riots obviously have nothing to do with the gay parade or any moral values. These are hooligan gangs which must be punished severely."

Luckily, Belgrade's streets are covered with security cameras, and Senior Justice Ministry official Slobodan Homen claims that many of the rioters have been identified and arrested, and could face up to eight years in prison!

Unbelievable!

As devastated as we are to learn that this despicable and barbaric behavior occurred due to bigotry and hate, we have to applaud the Serbian government for handling everything with such commitment and integrity!

Your support in such an important cause is truly appreciated!

Equal rights for ALL! It's happening, whether you like it or not!
