A superintendant from the Bronx named Raul Sanchez was arrested last year after the NYPD found 50 dogs in his building's basement that were obviously being used in a dog fighting ring.

Well, those doggies that were rescued are now getting the justice they rightfully deserve!

Back in July, we reported that Vampire Weekend was being sued by the model on the cover of their Contra album.

Now, the band is looking to get satisfaction themselves, and they're suing the photographer, Tod Brody, for alleging that he had the rights to former model Ann Kirsten Kennis' photo, which they used on the cover.

A judge has given the band permission to pursue legal action against Brody, but the photographer hasn't responded to any contact attempts thus far.

In an effort to show him how serious they are, both Vampire Weekend AND Kennis' lawyer have requested permission to "pass a summons via email or post rather than serve him papers in person."

On Nov 18, they were granted permission to do so, and Brody's summons was issued on Nov 24.

Looks like Brody will be considered "served" within 10 days of the issue date, and he'll be forced to respond to the summons by early 2011, otherwise he's liable for a default judgment.

Guess we'll hear more soon, as that deadline is fast approaching!

Becks' lying hooker bitch has been served!

Bosnian Hooker Irma Nici is being sued by David Beckham for making claims that he paid to have sex with her. Beckham is also suing the magazine, In Touch Weekly, for publishing the story.

We told you guys you were headed for trouble, ITW!

Here's what a source had to say about Irma Nici's reaction when she got served:

"She looked totally unfussed as she looked through the writ for the first time. She just smiled and didn't look bothered. It is yet another outrageous show from her."

She won't be smiling soon, and neither will ITW. Here's an excerpt from Beckham's complaint against the magazine:

"The defamatory statements about Beckham are libellous and slanderous. These statements falsely accuse Beckham of criminal and adulterous activity.The defamatory statements expose him to hatred, contempt, ridicule and obloquy because they inaccurately portray Beckham as an unfaithful husband who put his wife's health at risk by engaging in sexual acts with prostitutes."

We would NOT want to be on the wrong end of this lawsuit. Looks like Irma Nici and ITW may be in some serious trouble!
