We were pretty shocked to hear that Seth MacFarlane had been asked to return to host the Oscars after the controversy surrounding his last run.

But now it looks like A Million Ways To Die In The West and Family Guy will keep the writer/director/star too busy- not that he didn't consider it!

In fact, Seth was so broken up about not hosting, he needed two tweets to turn the job down! He tweeted:

So imagine our surprise when we found out he was asked to come back and give it the old sophomore try next year!

But hey, ratings are ratings, right?

And despite saying he would NEVER do the giggity gig again, the Family Guy creator is apparently considering it!

Family Guy has been known to push the boundaries, but even they wouldn’t go this far!

Unfortunately, some people think Seth MacFarlane and his cartoon were insensitive about the recent tragedy as a newly edited clip from the show has gone viral and upset many!

But the real story is that Family Guy aired an episode on March 17th that involved Peter Griffin driving through the Boston Marathon in order to win it. Also in that episode, there is a completely different scene where Peter befriends a terrorist who is planning to blow up a bridge.

The two scenes are NOT back-to-back and were NOT a prediction of anything that happened at the marathon, just an unfortunate coincidence.

Now, a video of those scenes has been edited with them placed together to make it appear as though the bombing took place at the marathon.

The episode with those scenes has since been pulled and Seth took to Twitter to address the video:

Seth MacFarlane thinks he’s too good for Charlize Theron??

Not quuuite, but apparently isn’t at ALL innerested in getting down with the Oscar winner.

Although romance rumors popped up like Lindsay Lohan at nightclubs after the two were spotted dining together, those rumors are being destroyed faster than LiLo’s chances at a career comeback.

Even though almost any guy out there wouldn’t mind snuggling up to the former MODEL, Seth is happy with a platonic friendship and working relationship since she's the lead in his next flick, A Million Ways to Die.

Charlize and Seth are set to co-star in their upcoming film A Million Ways To Die In The West, so this could have been a business meeting, ha! But we know Seth and his Game of Thrones lady love Emilia Clarke are no longer together. What’s more? Seth and Charlize were reportedly caught canoodling at the Oscar’s after party…
