That's the Jaws theme if you couldn't tell. LOLz!

This is crazy, but some men were fishing about 30 miles off the coast of New Jersey when suddenly, something big approached their boat.

A group of men were out fishing off the coast of SoCal.

What could've been a normal, boring fishing trip, turned into possibly a record setting outing.

While filming for a new Outdoor Channel show called The Professionals, they hooked a Mako shark.

A GIANT Mako shark! They fought for two hours to reel in the 1,300-pound beast!!

That sure is gonna be some great footage for their show!

The shark's body has been donated to science to study so at least it will go to good use.

An 11-year-old boy, Kyle Kirkpatrick, was swimming at Ormond Beach in Florida when something pretty terrifying happened…

He was bitten by a shark!!

He said:

"I was trying to catch a wave and all of a sudden I felt something on my foot and it started hurting. I turned behind me and I'm like what happened and then I see blood everywhere and and my dad picks me up and brings me to shore."

That's awful! That must've been so scary!!

Luckily, there was an off-duty paramedic nearby who helped patch him up with gauze and called 911.

Thankfully, his foot is totally fine now and he is recovering well.

The docs think it was just a baby shark who bit him.

Wait… what?? Yes, we were just confused by our own headline.

But it's all true!

A cat, dressed in a shark costume, is riding a Roomba robot vacuum around while a little duckling chases the Roomba.

Also, there's a dog in a hammerhead shark costume!

So adorbz.

We have no idea why this video happened, but we're so glad it did.

It's just one big cluster fluff of cuteness!!

Score one for the Sharks!

The New York Senate has UNANIMOUSLY passed a bill to ban shark fin trading!

But that won't mean squat unless the New York state Assembly passes the bill which many people are positive will happen.

Here's what a spokesperson for the Humane Society said:

It's pretty rare to see a great white shark in South Florida, but it does happen.

It's even rarer to catch one and reel it in!!

A high school baseball team was on a fishing boat in South Florida when exactly that happened!

It took four players over two hours to reel the shark into the boat.

Since great whites are protected, the shark was released so yay! Happy ending!

The 1,000-pound, 10-13ft shark was the largest the ship captain had ever caught in his 30 years of fishing!

Remember when this shark was discovered?

Well, that wasn't the only genetic anomaly that's happened!

In fact, there's been quite a lot of them over the years.

From sharks to humans - animal anomalies happen quite regularly.

Is that ironic? Not sure.
