Dina Lohan Confirms That Lindsay's Playboy Shoot "Went Well"

dina-lohan-playboy-lindsay.jpg

She's already done it?! Ha! Guess you're getting paid this week, Shawn Chapman Holley!

This morning, news broke that Lindsay Lohan, after years of offers, finally agreed to pose for Playboy Magazine for just under $1 million. Now, her rep refuses to "confirm or deny" the story and people over at Playboy are saying the same. However, no one let LiLo's mother in on the "tight lipped" rule, as she is confirming that the shoot has actually already happened!

Just this afternoon, Dina Lohan gushed that the "photo shoot went well," insinuating that her daughter is happy with the results.

Guess we'll be seeing her on the cover of the magazine in 3…2…1…

BTW - Are inmates allowed magazine subscriptions? We wouldn't want her to miss her big moment if she is, well, "occupied" elsewhere!

No More Jail Time For La Lohan!

lindsay-lohan-to-not-receive-any-more-jail-time-for-misdemeanor-theft-case

It's (almost) official!

Lindsay Lohan has once again slithered out of serious trouble!

HOW does she do it?! LOLz!

The formerly hard-pAArtying actress' lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, reportedly met with Judge Stephanie Sautner and the City Attorney yesterday, and according to sources, gurl will NOT be sentenced to any additional jail time over the 120 days she has already received for violating her probation, so long as she pleads no contest to misdemeanor theft!

Furthermore, she's expected to be serving her sentence at home, with an electronic monitoring device!

Wow!

We won't know for sure until tomorrow's hearing - and as we've reported, La Lohan won't even BE there for it - but we think that gurl should be thanking her insanely lucky stars that she'll be out of this mess completely, and relatively unscathed, might we add!

Hopefully THIS will be the last of these situations for her.

Lindsay Refuses To Take Plea Deal With Jail Time

lindsay-lohan-refuses-to-take-plea-deal-with-jail-time.jpg

She will do anything to not go back to the big house!

Despite the fact that Lindsay Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Holley, is trying to negotiate a plea deal with prosecutor Danette Meyers, Lindsay has told those closest to her that no matter what, she is not going back to jail.

Even though the plea deal will most likely involve jail time, Lindsay wants to go to trial and waste taxpayers' money because she thinks the surveillance tape will show that she's not guilty.

Uhhh, we wouldn't bet on that, Linds. Just listen to your lawyer and maybe you can get a really light sentence. Remember what the judge said last time if you're guilty - you WILL be doing time so at least make it a short visit.

Lindsay's Lawyer Desperately Trying To Reach A Plea Deal!

lindsay-lohan-plea-bargain.jpg

Well, perhaps more accurately we should say it's hit an impasse.

Source connected with Lindsay Lohan's felony theft case are saying that LiLo's lawyer will be meeting with the DA and Judge Schwartz at the beginning of next week to hammer out some key details in the plea bargain on the table.

On her end, the D.A. refuses to allow Lindsay to walk away from this without any jail time and is sticking to her original offer of six months behind bars. This meeting with the judge will be Shawn Chapman Holley's chance to hear what the judge will offer her client should she plead guilty or no contest. It's likely that if sentencing rest in his hands, Lindsay'll get three months instead of six.

But make no mistake, Lindsay is going to jail. Six months, three months, eighteen days (which is 20% of a three months sentence, which is the most likely scenario at this point), she's still going to see the inside of a jail cell in the next week.

Some men are honorable and keep their promises. Some just like to hear themselves talk.

We feel bad for you Linds, but not too bad. Actions have consequences and if you never face them, you never learn. Hopefully, you learned something this time around!

High Powered Lawyers, Assemble! Lindsay Needs Your Help!

lindsay and her lawyer team up with blair berk

You can get as many lawyers as you want Lindsay, but we don't think it's going to change the undeniable fact that you're going to do some time.

Today, Lindsay showed up at high powered lawyer Blair Berk's office, in an effort to get another pair of eyes to review the evidence against her, and for some help with strategy.

We really don't think this was necessary, especially because it must have cost A LOT of money. We think Shawn Chapman Holley gave it a strong effort, but the fact is there's too much evidence pointing against you, Lindz.

Ya know, Lindsay, if you put half as much effort into staying out of trouble as you're putting into trying to stay out of jail right now, you'd be in fantastic shape!

Do U think more legal advice will make any difference for Lindsay in this case?

LiLo's Prosecutor Willing To Lessen Charge If Stolen Necklace Really Is Overpriced

lindsay-lohan-necklace-possibly-overpriced__opt1.jpg

Operation "Keep LiLo Out Of The Clink" has reached phase three: Get felony charge reduced to misdemeanor.

Alright, so we assume most of you don't know how the legal system works, so let us give you a bit of lesson. Right now, Lindsay Lohan is poised to stand trial for a felony grand theft charge. The reason her charge is considered a "felony" is because the necklace she supposedly stole was valued at over $950. That's how the cookies crumble here in California. However, if the necklace in question was actually valued at a lesser price point, then Lindsay would be facing a misdemeanor charge, not a felony. Big difference!

We already know that LiLo's super lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, has already gotten several prominent jewelers to admit that the bling's really only worth between $800-$1,000, but now it seems you're a mean one Deputy D.A. Danette Meyers is willing to hear evidence to that affect. She told sources:

"If Shawn (Lindsay's lawyer) presents me with credible evidence of value, we will take a look at it. But based upon what's in front of us — what the store owner and designer said — the necklace is worth $2,500."

Uh-huh. Well, we are in a bad economy and the price of gold has gone up, so maybe the designer opted to inflate their price a bit. One things for sure, this should be Shawn's top priority right now. A misdemeanor is decidedly less damaging to LiLo's future than being found guilty of a felony.

Then again, she's innocent, right? So this is all a moot point anyway? Right? RIGHT?

LiLo's Looking For A Plea Deal

lindsay-lohan-seeks-plea-deal.jpg

Operation "Keep LiLo Out Of The Clink" continues into phase two: Seek a plea deal for a lesser sentence!

Thought she still maintains her innocence, sources close to Lindsay Lohan reveal she has her lawyer working overtime to get the D.A. to agree to a plea deal, one that does not include jail time.

As we understand it , during the hearing yesterday, Judge Keith Schwartz granted Shawn Chapman Holley a new hearing date so that she and the prosecutor could talk about a plea bargain. From what we know, Lindsay is willing to plead guilty, so long as it means she's kept out of prison.

Just one problem with that - the prosecutor's out for blood! Oh yeah, Danette Meyers is not foolin' around this time. She wants Lindsay to serve some time for what she's done, past and present, so she and LiLo's lawyer are at an impasse.

There is some hope for Lindsay, though. Her freedom could come if Judge Schwartz feels like being kind to her. As we understand it, in a case such as this where there is only one charge, a defendant can cut a deal with a judge, taking the D.A. out of the picture. If LiLo's lawyer can persuade the judge to make a ruling himself, he could grant her assurance that Lindsay won't go back to prison and the case could go away.

But the likelihood of that happening? Considering the wrath he spewed yesterday, we're thinking slim to none.

LiLo Wanted To Submit A Polygraph Test!

lindsay-lohan-offered-to-submit-a-polygraph-test

Well, she's certainly committed to maintaining her innocence!

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly so intent on proving that she did not steal the $2,500 necklace for which she's currently being charged with felony grand theft, that she offered to submit a polygraph test!

The sticky fingered actress' lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, reportedly met with prosecutors Danette Meyers and John Lynch earlier in the week to offer the option, but they naturally refused due to the test not being scientifically sound, and the amount of evidence that points to LiLo's guilt!

Nice effort, bb, but we think you're just going to have to resign yourself to the fact that this is a SERIOUS crime, and the best bet you have is to just appear in court when you're supposed to, and be HONEST about what actually happened - whatever that may be!

Thoughts??
