Even though Sherlock Holmes 2 will have a new female lead, played by Noomi Rapace, images from the set have been circulating that show Rachel McAdams on set with Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law!

Watch the vid (above) showing new images from the sequel's set. The narration is in French so we're not exactly sure what's happening, but Rachel is definitely there!

Okay, so Robert Downey Jr. thankfully isn't re-teaming with Zach Galifianakis for another Due Date movie, but he does have some exciting projects on the horizon.

Here's what Robert had to say about The Avengers:

“I think we’re going to do something extraordinary. If we work really hard, I think we’ll have something worth it."

That's exactly what we like to hear! More from Robert on Sherlock Holmes 2:

“The funny thing is we’re almost done shooting the second ‘Sherlock’ movie, so we were just in London five seconds ago and we flew in to do this. We have like three more weeks of shooting.”

Looks like Robert Downey Jr. will continue to be a force to be reckoned with at the box office over the next couple of years!

Oh no!

Production of Sherlock Holmes 2 was reportedly halted after Jude Law accidentally hit co-star Robert Downey Jr. in the eye with the handle of a whip so hard that the actor was knocked down flat!

A source reveals:

“The cast and crew came running as Downey howled, filming halted while medics nursed his eye with ice bags — and Jude kept whining apologies. Hours later, medics determined the swelling had subsided, so after a bit of makeup magic — the scene was reshot.”

Ouchie! Poor thing!

Thank goodness that it wasn't any more serious! The eyes are such a sensitive area!

Hopefully this will remind everyone to try and be more careful while filming!

We're sorry to hear that it looks like Rachel won't be in Sherlock Holmes 2, but it should be inneresting to see how Dragon Tattoo girl does in her place.

Aren't they already in production?

You'd think that they'd have this figured out by now!

Rachel McAdams recently revealed that although she played a leading role as Robert Downey Jr.'s love interest in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes, she's not even sure if she'll be included in the film's sequel!

She explains:

"It's kind of all still in the process. They're still doing script work, and we'll see. If I do, it won't be a very big thing. It's not a lead part."

Hm. That doesn't sound too promising to us.

Probably a round-a-bout way of saying no!

Too bad! We really liked her in the first one!
