This is such sad news.
It's with a heavy heart that we must report that beloved former child actor Dickie Moore passed away at the of 89 on Thursday.
Dickie was a very iconic part of old Hollywood, getting his start at only 11 months old when films were still silent in 1927.
The actor was most famous for his role as the titular Oliver Twist in the very first adaptation of the novel with sound, as well as his work in Blonde Venus and Heaven Can Wait.
He even gave Shirley Temple her second kiss ever while filming Miss Annie Rooney!
Back in 2013, Dickie's wife, fellow actress Jane Powell, reported that her husband was battling both dementia and arthritis, so it's sad to hear that he's succumbed to his old age.
Our thoughts are with Dickie's friends and family at this time.
Rest in peace, Dickie.
