An unemployed Brooklyn man, on his way to a job interview, saved the life of a 9-month-old boy after the baby was blown into the path of a oncoming train.

Delroy Simmonds jumped on the tracks, and hoisted the bleeding child AND his stroller onto the platform missing the J train by inches.

Here's what the hero said:

“Everybody is making me out to be some sort of superhero. I’m just a normal person. Anybody in that situation should have done what I did.”

That's exactly what a hero WOULD say.

The man eventually DID get a job!
