This is tough.

The house that both Brittany Murphy and her husband Simon Monjack died in has gone into foreclosure and will be auctioned off on Monday morning.

The 8,000 square foot home is settled on 1.29 acres in the Hollywood Hills. A little over $4 million is still owed on the home.

It's a bit eerie to buy a house that two people tragically died in, however with its history, we're sure the house will sell at the auction.

As for Brittany's mom, Sharon, it must be difficult to lose her home, but it's probably for the best considering the horrible memories that are attached to that house.

We don't buy it! There's something about this whole situation that is very VERY strange!

Sharon Murphy has responded to reports that she and her daughter Brittany's husband, Simon Monjack, slept in the same bed together after the actress' tragic death and before his, and she seems none too pleased with it being made public!

She claims:

"I am very disturbed that the L.A. Coroners [sic] office continues to release things to the media that are misleading. The… salacious headline suggesting that my precious [sic] son-in-law Simon and I slept in bed together, infering [sic] sexual contact is journalism at its lowest."

Meanwhile, the Coroner's Office maintains:

"Our report speaks for itself."

Yeah! We think it does, too!

Shady, shady! And EFFING DISTURBING!

Gross.

Sharon Murphy, Brittany Murphy’s mom, told investigators that she shared a bed with her daughter's husband Simon Monjack after Brittany passed away.

This information was found in the report released by the LA Coroner’s Office after Monjack’s death. Sharon’s name was withheld from the report, but sources close to the investigation identified the withheld person’s name as her.

During a walk-through of Brittany and Simon’s home, Sharon identified one side of the bed (that Simon slept on) as “her side of the bed.” There were also prescriptions belonging to Sharon on the nightstand.

There was no sexual contact reported in the investigation.

Regardless of whether or not there was sexual contact, this is still creepy and inappropriate and weird!

Their story just gets more grim and shady with each passing day!

Brittany Murphy's former business manager, Jeffrey Morgenroth, is coming forward to insist that the actress' late husband, Simon Monjack, almost completely cleaned out her cash reserves after her death.

Jeff says that before his own demise, Simon spent over 80 percent of the money Brittany had saved away. Because of this, Jeff has expressed concern for Brittany's mother who is facing some severe financial uncertainty. Jeff explains:

"There were huge amounts of money in [Brittany's] pension plan and bank account, and all of that's gone. I would see it on the statements. There was money being withdrawn by Simon, hundreds of thousands."

This greedy impluse seems to have been a learned trait as now, Simon's mother is after everything that is left, including the couple's Hollywood home, where Brittany's mother Linda still lives.

Something is sooo off about all of this. The money, the similar deaths. It's just too damn eerie!

Reports began surfacing that toxic mold in the house may have contributed to the deaths of Brittany Murphy and her husband Simon Monjack, but Brittany's mother Sharon says that information is incorrect!

She explains:

"I have never been personally asked by the coroner or anyone from the Health Department to come and inspect my home for mold. In the last eight months, I have been through the most unimaginable events, which no one could ever fathom. I have and will continue to be very cooperative and fully comply with any such request. It's absurd that this kind of misinformation is being reported by the media."

The official cause of their deaths in pneumonia and anemia.

Plus the family had their home inspected just last year! The family spokesman says:

"Due to the inferior products used by the builder and sub contractors, the Murphy home had a persistent leak problem. Simon Monjack [hired] an attorney and filed a lawsuit against [them].

"In October 2009, to insure the home was safe to occupy, the attorney hired a well-respected company to conduct a full inspection of the home which would include … checking for any possible mold."

Still sounds fishy to us!

This could explain the identical autopsy results!

Investigators working on the cases of Brittany Murphy and husband Simon Monjack are saying that mold found in their home could be a "contributing factor" to their deaths.

When Brittany passed away, sources say that the issue of mold found in her house came up during the investigation, but was later dismissed.

However, when Simon died a few months later, his causes of death were anemia and more specifically, pneumonia - the exact same results as Brittany's autopsy.

And even though prescription medications were found in Simon's blood stream, there wasn't enough to be lethal.

Brittany's mom, Sharon earlier refused to allow the L.A. County Coroner's Office to investigate the mold, however, she has now agreed to Public Health investigators examine the home.

This could explain why Brittany and Simon had respiratory health problems, such as pneumonia, which is a dangerous side effect of being exposed to mold.

As bizarre as the whole situation is, we can understand why it would such a relief to her.

Brittany Murphy's mother, Sharon, is relieved that her son-in-law Simon Monjack's preliminary autopsy results have been released - which report that he died of a pneumonia and anemia, just like his wife - so the media will stop speculating that he was on drugs.

She says:

"As I was sure of, just like my daughter Brittany, there was no kind of drug overdose [for Simon Monjack].I am calling on the media to stop the reckless innuendos, that my daughter and son-in-law misused any kind of prescription medications."

Hopefully this will give her some peace of mind, but we still think there was some shady business going on with that guy.
