Poor Chloë! That stain is never coming out of your prom dress!

Fifteen year-old silver screen starlet Chloë Moretz is shooting the remake of the classic Stephen King horror novel Carrie and, so far, it looks BLOODY frightening!

The 1976 version was one of the most shockingly violent films of its time but star Sissy Spacek was in her '20s when she played the titular role!

We are curious whether director Kimberly Peirce will strive to keep her film quite so edgy after casting an actual teen girl!

Normally, matronly actress Julianne Moore could help console Chloë after her troubling scenes but, oh yeah, Julez plays a psychotic zealot who torments young Carrie just as badly as everyone else!

There's a old NEW Carrie that everyone will soon be talking about!!

It looks like MGM has come to a final decision as to who'll be nabbing the lead role in Stephen King's Carrie remake, based on King's bestseller and the 1976 film!!!

And by nabbing, we mean getting buckets of pigs' blood poured on them, of course!

The studio and film's director Kim Peirce made the formal offer today to actress Chloe Moretz to play Carrie White: the shy, telepathic high schooler out for vengeance.

Tuesday Sissy Spacek and her daughter/actress Schuyler Fisk were spotted shopping in El Lay with their super cute pooch.

Maybe Sissy is putting in some mommy time after suggesting LiLo - and not her daughter - play the lead in the re-make of her classic film Carrie.

Earlier this week Sis said remake of the horror remake:

"I read about it and I was very flattered because they ran a picture of me and of Lindsay Lohan. I was like, 'Oh my God, she's really a beautiful girl' and so I was very flattered. I was also flattered that they were casting someone to look like me instead of the real Carrie described in the book. It's gonna be real interesting."

A long, long time ago (but you can still remember), Stephen King mused that it would be an interesting idea to remake Carrie for this generation and cast Lindsay Lohan in the title role.

Though noting concrete has come of this yet, it might interest her to know that should she get the part, Stephen won't be the only one in her corner. Sissy Spacek, who originally was splattered in blood, shared that she would love to see Lindsay have the part! In fact, she feels "flattered" that anyone would compare herself to the young star. She explains:
