Let the Skyfall indeed — Adele is back where she belongs!

It was confirmed this morning that the new baby mamma will take the stage at this year's Academy Awards to perform her seductive James Bond theme, Skyfall!!

The award-winning singer from South London expressed in a statement:

"It’s an honour to be nominated and terrifyingly wonderful to be singing in front of people who have captured my imagination over and over again. It’s something I’ve never experienced and probably only ever will once!"

YES YES YES!

And now it doesn't even matter if Seth MacFarlane falls flat or if anything embarrassing or awkward happens at the 85th Annual Academy Awards…

Adele will just soothe the audience with that comforting, incredible voice of hers!

Now if she would only elaborate on this whole broadway business…

Adele reigns supreme as a musical Queen!

OF COURSE she can star in a broadway play…

The lovely Adele has been laying low ever since welcoming her first child, but now the AH-Mazing songstress is back in action.

The new mum was spotted arriving in El Lay just in times for a smashing Golden Globes performance this weekend.

We are simply dying to hear her perform the latest James Bond theme song Skyfall!

But we aren’t the only ones, as Adele also had her little boy all wrapped up when she landed.

Looks like someone will be supporting mama on her big night.

Now if only she’d take the baby as her date down the red carpet!

Oh, our sweet, precious Adele!

Even though our soulful queen of sound was a thousand miles and poles apart (or at least we assume), she still figuratively walked away with the award for Best Song at the 2013 Critics' Choice Awards for her song Skyfall.

She and her writing partner Paul Epworth took away the gold, or the clear star, over Keith Urban's For You for the film Act of Valor, Paul Williams' Still Alive in Paul Williams Still Alive, Suddenly, the original song performed by Hugh Jackman in Les Mis, and Mumford & Sons' Learn Me Right for Brave.

What a shake-up! Not a stir-up!

Skyfall has won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Action Movie!

The James Bond film left The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and Looper in the dust like women in his Asten Martin's rearview!

Daniel Craig showed the super heroes and time travelers what a plain old, er, incredibly handsome superspy could do!

And he didn't even wear tights and a cape! What a shame! LOLz!

Philip Seymour Hoffman won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor for his INSANELY amazing work in The Master.

Anne Hathaway wowed audiences in Les Miserables, and now she is being wowed herself with the Critics' Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Anne managed to beat out the stiff competition that included Helen Hunt, Judi Dench, Ann Dowd, Sally Field and Amy Adams.

Plus, she charmed audiences by pointing out her name was misspelled on the winning envelope. Oops!
