A Harvard study of nearly 5,000 police officers across the nation has determined that 40% tested positive for a sleep disorder that may be causing them to nod off behind the wheel!
The majority of those who were discovered to have a sleep disorder, like insomnia or sleep apnea, never received treatment. Even worse is that 46% admitted to falling asleep at the wheel at least once, while 26% said they do so at least once or twice a month!

We’ve heard of people sleepwalking and even sleep-eating before, but never this.
On yesterday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Glee cutie Chris Colfer was a special guest and the 20-year-old decided to share his unique disorder.
According to Colfer, as a child he used to sleepwalk, but now that he’s on his own, it’s turned to sleep-shopping online.
“I started sleep shopping online. These really random packages kept showing up on my doorstep and I’d open them up and they’d be so random. Like the complete series of The Carol Burnett Show and this huge, life sized poster of Lady Gaga. I don’t know why my subconscious wanted that poster. I think the weirdest was this huge framed portrait of Marie Antoinette showed up.”
Check out the HIGHlarious clip above.
While part of us thinks he’s joking or probably just half asleep on the computer, what do U think about the possibility of “sleep shopping”?
