Gloria Allred, the famed attorney who filed the first lawsuit in California that challenged the denial of marriage licenses for same-sex couples, has got another discriminatory bone to pick. This time, against the reckless use of hateful words.
The attorney claims a Major League Baseball coach used "homophobic words and sexually suggestive vulgar behavior," to stimulate sex between two men IN FRONT OF A FAN'S CHILDREN!
She says the "shocking gay slurs" and "vulgar sexual gestures" were directed at 3 men whom the coach apparently thought were gay.
One of the three fans had brought his 9-year-old twin girls to the game and protested the coach's discriminatory comments, to which he responded, "Kids don't f**king belong at the baseball park."
We're pretty sure baseball is AMERICA'S favorite past time, but that couldn't possibly include kids or gay men, right?
Ugh! According to this guys logic, Little League should be canceled and it should be illegal to put on a baseball glove until you turn eighteen.
Even worse, the unnamed coach for the unnamed MLB team proceeded to come after the man and his kids "with threatening words and a baseball bat."
Talk about losing your cool…then your job shortly after! This is a perfect example of grown man, who calls himself a "professional", acting like an ignorant child.
Allred will hold a news conference with the father and his twins at her El Lay office at 1 p.m. today, which will stream live.
She's made a career out of cases like this and can't see the coach coming up with any kind of legitimate defense for his actions.
