But, but.. it's so cleverly named!

Rock 'n' roll legend Chubby Checker recently filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Hewlett-Packard, claiming a smartphone app they published under the musician's name did “irreparable damage and harm” to his reputation.

The Chubby Checker App, you see, estimates the size of a man's package… and we aren't referring to the kind UPS delivers!

Through some miracle of science, it uses a dude's shoe size to determine what size drill bit he keeps in the tool box, if you know what we mean!

And, if you don't know what we mean, let us spell it out:

Penises! We are talking about penises! Their length! Width! Girth! The whole nine yards inches!! HA!

We totes understand why the 71-year-old Twist singer is horrified to see his legacy twisted by a penile punchline, but… what an epically HIGHlarious punchline it was!

UPDATE: Chubby Checker spoke publicly about his legal dramz. He said:

"I don't want people to go around calling me a penis."

Well, there you have it! He's a singer, not a schlong!

Like magic, Bandai is resurrecting the Tamagotchi fad as an app for your smartphone! Bandai said:

The new Tamagotchi app will feature the same gameplay you know and love with a number of exciting new features."

What new features? Wallpapers, themes, mini-games- not to mention a web series!

Amazon is developing a new smartphone with a Chinese mobile phone company!

On top of the internet giant's alliance with Foxconn International Holdings Ltd., Amazon is meeting with various companies to acquire wireless patents so they avoid more lawsuits over illegal use of technology.

Smartphones have long been forbidden in theatres and entertainment venues for the raucous it causes with the wiring. Not to mention it's just plain rude.

But a venue in Seattle is about to change their tune come 2014.

When it opens two years from now, the theatre will not only welcome smartphones but encourage the use of tweeting throughout the performance.

Wow, we'd hate to be sitting near the people who want to do that…

With plans of the ban lifting in that theatre, people are wondering what it could mean for every entertainment venue.

It doesn't matter if it's a theatre or a movie theater, if we're paying money to see a show, we don't want it interrupted by people treating it as their own living room. It ruins the experience, no?
