YES!! Just thinking about this flick gives us a nerd boner the size of an Ent and six times as hard! Bilbo battles the dragon until December 13th, but MGM is unleashing a teaser for The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug tomorrow!!

Ugh!!! We can barely wait!!

It feels like it's been eleventy-one years since we first found out about The Hobbit being turned into a movie.

Recently, we found out it's actually going to be a trilogy!

The subtitles for the first two films in the series, An Unexpected Journey and There And Back Again are just about set in stone, but what will they call the third one?

A source inside New Line reports that they have purchased the rights to two different titles:

Although it was rumored that Edgar Ramirez would be taking the actor's place after he turned down the role of the main villain in the upcoming Star Trek 2, it's been announced that instead, it will be Benedict Cumberbatch, best known for his starring part in the BBC Sherlock series!
